“If you find yourself in this part of Granada - and you should - by all means drop in”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

Very friendly little restaurant. We began our afternoon visit with wine at an outside table, and when a strong wind blew in were ushered inside. It's cozy but comfortable, and the food was good. My fried sardines were an especial treat. Good prices, too.

“Great place for outside drinks, staff rude”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

We went here per recommendations from TA and guide books for some drinks outside. We had just left Juan Ranos nearby where we had wine outside, and wanted to come here for a bite to eat. Got here around 4:00 and were able to sit outside, but they had no food and were shutting down for a few hours. So we were rushed with our drinks and the whole time had the staff stacking up tables and chairs while we were trying to enjoy our drinks. So we left and had to find another place for lunch, and stumbled upon another place. Went back to bar Kiki for dinner and drinks (we were adamant about eating here) once it reopened around 7 or so, and had an average meal. The waiter didn't speak much english, but he also didn't seem to want to try to understand what we wanted to order. He got our order wrong, and even though that could have been fine, we didn't really like the food that much. We didn't enjoy the experience here, although its in a perfect location right next to the mirador de san nicolas. I'd come again just for the location to seeing the Alhambra lit up at night, but just for drinks and WITHOUT any expectations.

“Great food, atmosphere and price!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

Walking towards Albayzin you'll find lots of places to eat and drink something but this one was really an excellent choice. It's right by the Mirador de San Nicholas where you can enjoy a splendid view on the Alhambra. This bar has a spacious terrace in the heart of the Albayzin and it's very recommended on a sunny day. The tapas were really very good and the beer almost frozen, exactly the way I like it. Apart from the tapas we ordered a plate of Bacalao sefardi which was really worth trying. The staff was very friendly and also at a table close to us there were two people playing the guitar and singing which added to the atmosphere. Overall, a much enjoyed afternoon.

“Nice afternoon with a beer (or two)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Friendly service where we were not ripped off for being blonde haired, non Spanish speaking. Very lively atmosphere with guitar players and lots of locals. A very pleasant afternoon sat in the sunshine with a couple of very good beers at a very good price. We will be back, probably for a full meal next time.

“Fun food and wine near San Nicolas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

This was one of our best meals in Granada... our waiter was funny and friendly and made us feel at home. The tapas served with drinks were very good (there was a curried pork loin tapa that was dynamite) so we decided to have lunch there and were not disappointed. I got a moroccan spiced cod dish that was quite good, and my wife got the rabo del toro, which was even better.

There was a nice mix of tourists and locals. A great guitarist played while we ate, which added to the atmosphere (no, really - his name is Antonio Amador, and he's excellent!) When we left, our waiter came to say goodbye and told us to consider Bar Kiki our home in Granada. Very charming - recommended.
