“pleasant hotel for a tourist visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

The hotel is very clean and well situated for the city. The staff are friendly and breakfast was fine.
Rooms are sparely furnished. Ours did not have a wardrobe, but only a hanging space.
The car park is scarily tight for anything but a small car, we had a Polo and that was OK, but a larger car might not fit!

This is a very elegant, clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The bedroom was clean and minimalist with comfortable, wide beds. However, try to avoid a ground floor room because you will get amplified noise from late returning guests. Breakfast is served in a striking vaulted cellar, and is varied with fresh orange juice and espresso on demand. One minor problem: no Internet during our brief stay.

Hotel experience was excellent, service was great and staff really friendly and helpful everything I needed they provided straight away and with no problem. Hotel itself was great and the room we were given was outstanding. It was a mix of modern and rustic looks which gave it a very nice charm, very romantic! :-) The location of the hotel was good too! Would definitly be back!!!

Woooow !!! We booked the hotel as part of a wedding group and had 6 rooms at this friendly, family-run establishment. Each room had a different theme, but each was equally clean, well-appointed, comfortable and well-attended.

They prepared our party an evening meal by special request, which was as tasty and good value for money. Their breakfasts were also excellent (and available until 11 am!).

The rooms I saw and used had jacouzzi baths, were all ensuite and beautifully decorated, and very well maintained. The bedding was good quality and sumptuous, the mattresses were fantastic.

The location is fantastic for exploring central Granada, with the Alhambra & Albaicin within walking distance. Access by car is restricted to this area in Granada, however, you are allowed to load/unload at the hotel (they log your number plate at reception) and they have an agreement with a nearby carpark.

The hotel WiFi works and is free to use.

This hotel is worth 5 starts, rather than the 3 stars it has been awarded. Apparently the star rating is due to the fact it has no swimming pool, car park or conference facilities. I cannot stress how fabulous this hotel is and I can assure you that you will be amazed by the attentive service, fantastic ambiance, decor and standard of care you will receive if you stay at this hotel.

Treat yourself to this magical boutique hotel and you will have a memorable and emotional memory for life!

This hotel is perfect for a short stay in Granada. Bedrooms are delightful and the breakfast is an adequate Continental style meal in a lovely breakfast cellar. Staff are very helpful and booked tickets for visiting Alhambra palace and Generalife gardens. Plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby and only a five minute walk to the cathedral area and the main shopping area. A plus is the private parking only 2 minutes away.

Room Tip: Ground floor room - at first glance would have preferred not to be on ground floor but no noise from...

Our stay at the Gar-anat hotel was very pleasant. The hotel is brand new and quite stylish with all the modern comforts (TV, air con).
The first room we stayed in was very spacious but very dark as it was on the ground floor overlooking a wall. We complained and got the room called "Granada la vieja" which was great. It was spacious and had a balcony but was not overlooking the main road so wasn't noisy. The real bonus was the amazing large bathroom with Jacuzzi!

The location of the hotel is also very good, being easy walking distance from the main attractions. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so I cannot comment. We understood the hotel had private parking but this is actually someone else's private car park so you can only access it from 8 to midnight and it costs EUR 16.50 per 24 hours.

The service was relatively good. We arrived in the middle of the night and the porter checked us in all right. All the receptionist seemed very friendly and willing to help.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the upper floors not overlooking the main road.
