“Nice staff, good location, plenty to do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

Staff were very helpful with everything. Plenty of communal areas with massive kitchen, oustide area, bar, lobby and roof terrace. Stuff organised every night. Rooms get a bit expensive on big weekends, but overall great value and close to all the main spots (Al Hambra / Bars / Caves etc.). Highly recommended

Room Tip: Stay away from the bold room (the one beside the bar on the ground floor) - sharing bath with people...

I loved the vibe in this hostel. The location was great, near/in the kasbah. The interior was really interesting, the staff very helpful, the other guests interesting for the most part. The breakfast was really good...beyond my expectations for a hostel. A man came to cook dinner one night for 5 euro a person...was a new experience and delicious. Internet was free and there was a bar and a rooftop hangout. Would definitely stay here again. Only bad thing was the bunk beds...top bunk is hard to get into if you are not a young hipster. Its close to most attractions you want to see and good food and bars.

Room Tip: ask for bottom bunk if you have mobility issues

Absolutely recommend it. Great Atmosphere, great activities, great staff and great place to meet people. It is also in a really cool location. This is the second Oasis hostel I have stayed in and I had great experiences in both.

very helpful reception staff and great kitchen for guests. Beautiful lounge area and good central location. unfortunately my room was very dirty and I got sick from the dust (and other junk and debris) under and behind the beds which hadn't been cleaned for weeks (two nights stay). Not a good place for people with allergies. Suggest you check out the room before sleeping in it.

The staff here were absolutely great. I was traveling solo and they did a good job engaging everyone and hosting fun social/hostel events. The location was also great. I stayed in a small 8 bed, mixed room with a private bathroom. I didn't think there were enough outlets in the room itself but aside from that. No major complaints. Very clean. and super close to everything. There was only Wifi on the main floor/lounge. (I've also stayed in Oasis Seville, and Lisbon)

I stayed here as a solo traveller for 3 nights and loved every minute of it.
The hostel organises free walking tours for guests to see Granada at night and the caves etc during the day & I recommend doing both if you have the time. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly & well deserve a tip at the end of the tour. The reception staff are very helpful and can arrange tickets to Alhambra and it is well located in the Moroccan feel district with cool cafe's and cheap places to eat all around.
The on site bar is convenient & the Polish barman (who's name I can't remember!) is awesome & does some great deals.
The hostel is clean with lockable storage lockers in each room and a fully equipped kitchen with free tea & coffee and a decent breakfast.
I'd have loved to stay longer!!

All in all a great hostel! Loved the roof terrace, even though our room (6-bed dorm) was quite small. On the weekend, they served fresh seafood Paella (4€) or Pasta (for free!), which tasted delicious! The hostel staff was very friendly (english speaking as well) and when the guys in the room next door (bachelor's party) were really loud at night, they solved this "problem" by asking them so leave the hostel and have their party in another place :-) Clean bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and great breakfast with Pancakes!
