“good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

good tapas (for free if you get a cana (small beer), as in many places in granada).
the quality of the food is not too high, but it's good.
if you get more canas, you get a different kind of tapa each time.
it doesn't seem turistic at all. i have seen mostly spanish people inside.
it's close to calle elvira, where we've enjoyed part of the local "fiesta".

“great little bar and fantastic tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2012

I have visited this bar several times before It was no surprise to find it buzzing with customers and serving the usual high standard of tapas, which is included with your
alcoholic or non alcoholic drink. After one of their tapas there is no need to purchase lunch! The house wine was lovely, I had a crisp white which was served as a generous measure in a large sparkling glass, always guaranteed to make the wine taste even better!

“I should have listened to TripAdvisor”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2010

Me and my wife are on a European tour for our first year anniversary. So expect more reviews from these journey which ends at the beginning of the new year.

Anyway, went to La Bella y La Bestia (byb) last nite ti start the night of with some drinks and some tapas. We had a hard time finding the place but once we got there we were welcomed with a smile by the attendant. We sat down and as you do in spain we ordered 2 beers which were served with a plate of tapas. The tapas were horrible. Ham sandwich is usually not a Spanish tapa. Nor it is LAYS Chips with ketchup and mayo on top.
We didn't thought much Of it. They charged us 5€ a beer which is a rip off.
So in Granada don't eat the same touristy tapas you get fed all over spain. Try some of the amazi g Arab

“Great little bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2008

This is a lovely little bar with a good atmosphere, pleasant staff and excellent tapas. They specialise in a cocktail called Caiprinha - well worth trying. Bar food is also served at cosy little tables. Good music. We went back to this bar a number of times during our weekend visit to Granada. It is located very centrally in the old town alongside the Darro River.
