We discovered this little restaurant on our last visit to Torremolinos. It was only a few blocks from our apartment. It was closed on Fridays so we decided to go back after our friends had arrived. We proceeded to go back several more times during our 6 week stay. The gambas y pil pil were so good, and the mussells, yummm. We also tried almost everything else on the menu and all were winners! Antonio who is the manager convinced us to try the paella on our last visit. We have travelled in Andalusia numerous times since 2002 and this was THE BEST paella we had ever eaten. Rice perfectly cooked and seasoning done to perfection. We also stopped by several times for an after dinner drink, or coffee in the afternoon. When Antonio found out my husband (grew up in ElPaso, TX) spoke Spanish, he worked with him on pronunciation, correct usage, etc. I learned alot just by observation! We will definitly go back when we return for our winter's stay in 2013. The warm welcome we received from both Antonio and Paqui, his chef, made Enrique's # 1 on our list.
