This exhibition is situated in what is essentially a giant greenhouse/hangar in a car park. We went because our 3 year old son is heavily into dinosaurs, and we weren't disappointed.
Upon arrival you pay the entrance fee at a wooden cabin (9 Euros per adult, 7 Euros per child aged 3-16, under 3's go free). Beware this also acts as a dinosaur toy shop so almost immediately you will be bombarded by requests for dinosaur t-shirts, etc etc. That said, most items seemed reasonably priced.
Next to the reception, is a cafe selling coffee, tea, etc - again quite cheap (1 Euro per drink). There is a shaded cafe area with seats, table football and a bouncy castle which our children enjoyed.
As for the exhibition itself, you are greeted by a huge brachiosaurus in the car park - gigantic enough to cause great excitement and great photo opportunities. There are various dinosaur models situated outside - which take about 5-10 mins to walk around. The day we went was very hot however so we were keen to escape the hot sun and move inside the hangar to the 'main' part of the exhibition. When we got inside though it was just like a big greenhouse and so very hot inside too - no air con or fans to keep it cool. The exhibition follows in the same vein - various lifesize models of dinosaurs, some of which move and roar (although not enough to be scary). There are a couple of seating areas showing films of dinosaurs. And a few fossils. And that's about it! Took about half an hour to walk around (but that was with a 3 year old who kept stopping),
Beware if you have sensitive kids - one of the exhibits (towards the furthest end of the hangar) has a dinosaur eating its baby - quite gory, Bit bizarre for a exhibition presumably aimed at young children!
'Toilet facilities' were a couple of portaloos situated to the side of the hangar with no handwash (so worth taking some antibacterial gel). There did not appear to be any baby change facilities or disabled toilets.
Worth a visit if you have young kids who love dinosaurs but probably no other reason to go. And be prepared to sweat!
