“Very touristy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

The Plaza Costa del Sol in Torremolinos is situated at the top of the Calle San Miguel, and both suffer somewhat from being very much the haunt of half clad tourists.

“Large sandy beach.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

Only over-crowded in the main tourist season of July and August when the Spanish people also make an appearance!
The chiringuitos (beach bars/restaurants) are a central point for all beach lovers - how the Spanish Government could even dream of trying to make them illegal and close them down astounds me.
Try Los Marengos and Larrys behind the Sol Aloha Puerto hotel - good food and very friendly.

“worth a look”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Plenty of shops and cafes, where you can sit and people watch then haggle in the shops as you will get it cheaper as they want the sale.
