“Family run, Family values”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2012

Yet another visit to this small family run hotel. Felt just like being at home, apart from someone cleaning our room and making us breakfast, could have been. This is very much a family run business with the two families and their sons running the business hands on, on a daily basis. Many returning guests which must show they are doing something right. Only 1 star, but if looking for a great location and a place to sleep in this area, is our number one choice.
Sad to leave. but return next month, so not to bad.

Just returned from our second visit to the Hotel Cabello. It was full as always and many guests were repeat visitors like ourselves - which says it all! Still clean and tidy, basic rooms and the lovely toasted roll and coffee in a morning to start the day. The bathrooms have been done up since our last visit which only enhanced the experience. The drinks at the hotel are reasonable and the tables in the square outside do attract both locals and visitors, which makes for a great atmosphere. Everyone in the hotel is so welcoming and friendly, the location is second to none and I can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting this area. Loved it, we will be back

Room Tip: most of the rooms face the sea but it doesn't hurt to ask for one

Very clean hotel , staff very helpful and friendly. We hve been visiting Carihuela for the past 11 years and this is one of the best places we have stayed. Great value for money and it was lovely to sit outside in the morning and have breakfast.
Breakfast was basic but lovely.
Will definitely be back again, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Hotel situated in great location , we had a room at the front and could hear the waves from the sea in our room, very nice.

Room Tip: ask for a room at the front

Our second stay in this small 1 star Hotel. It is not very often we return to the same location let alone the same Hotel.
Nothing much has changed since our last visit, still a convienent hotel in an ideal location.
Even though we were a week earlier than last year more places seemed to be open or due to open.
Weather was fantastic so made for a great short break.
The Hotel have added more tables outside and they were frequently being used by locals and holiday makers.
Well worth a stay in this Hotel

this hotel does what its meant to do. its a 1star hotel, if you want 4/5 star luxury then look elsewhere. my partner and i have just spent 7 days here and had a cillaxing time here, no pressure from the staff to buy drinks, sit outside and people watch all day and night if you want. if you want to bring food back and sit outside the staff even give you cutlery to eat it with. the rooms are dated but you get what you pay for, a daily cleaned room clean bedding and towels every day. ideally positioned for all amenities, 10 seconds from the beach, the room walls are a little thin and there is a school opposite but who wants to go on holiday and spend all day in the bedroom? well apart from honeymooners lol and this isnt the ideal hotel for honeymooners. i would and will definately go back to this hotel need to know any more message me and ask

Room Tip: ask for room 122 perfect view of the beach
