Just returned from an eight night stay with my wife and 5 year old son which we paid €648 for. The hotel is located about a mile from the main tourist shoping area of Torremolinos and about three minutes from the beach. There are plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. So location is pretty much ideal.

The food in the hotel is much better than we had expected, if you can't find something that you like to eat from the vast options available at all meal times then it is you that has a problem and not the hotel. There is a snack bar between sittings so you will never go hungry. Drinks such as tea, coffee, beer (San Miguel), water, minerals are all self service so if they are your drinks of choice you wont be waiting at the bar. Service at the bar is quick enough and the shots are quite generous, barmen are all very friendly.

The hotel is kept very clean. The bedrooms and ensuites are immaculate and there is a daily maid service. The pool area is cleaned daily and the pool itself is warm enough.

Rafa and Gisela run the kids club and hotel entertainment and do a great job in doing so. Gisela managed to get my very shy son up playing and dancing with all the other kids. They were brilliant and had time for everyone.

Would have given this hotel a perfect score only that at night our neighbours put their room fan on, and we could hear it, it was like a washing machine on all night, we did complain and we were told that they would investigate but it never went away so assumed they did not. This was the only negative.

A Couple of tips;

If you like to drink tea bring your own tea bags. As the tea in Spain is always a bit rubbish.
It only costs €20 for a taxi from the airport. Don't bother booking transfers.

I stayed here for a week from June 13th and had a great time! From reading some other reviews I was not expecting to have a nice time but I could not fault the hotel and thought it was very good for its *** rating. The room was cleaned every day and towels were replaced. The balconly looked over the pool but didn't get the sun... Which meant the room was nice and cool. Wonderful selection of food at lunch and dinner I really enjoyed the half roast chicken, one of the best I've had. I would say though that the food is not plain if you are a fussy eater who is expecting chicken nuggets every night then you will be limited to chips. There was always a fish dish and a chicken or pork dish as well as pastas. I am a big coffee junky and was pleased to find that although the coffee machine in the dining room and at the pool was a vending machine the coffee was good. There was also a proper espresso machine behind the bar. Poolside snacks were good and I found all staff friendly and helpful. I really don't know what it is people that leave negative comments are expecting from this hotel. It was very family oriented but I went with a friend for a quiet girls holiday and we had a great time. The hotel is very central and right on the beach what more can you ask for!

We stayed for a week 7th June,
Rooms, Pool area and hotel in general is very clean, food could be better.
Hotel was very busy when myself an my partner stayed, so we where unable to have a late checkout, not ideal considering the hotel doesn't have a suitable room to get showered and changed etc, could be alot better.
The shower room is located in the pool side toilets, not the best.
The staff where friendly, especially Pepe at the pool bar, overall a decent hotel for your money.

Room Tip: Ceiling fan was very loud.

My family and I recently stayed here at the parasol garden. I have stayed in torremilinos many times and thought we would try parasol this time around we were very pleased with our choice. We had a room on the 9th floor and the views of the beach were fab! The food was good always something we liked, and the drinks great especially on all inclusive!!! The location is lovely as its very close to the beach and you can walk all the way to the marina which takes about 40mins with plenty of shops and arcades for the kids!! We will deffo return :):)

Room Tip: I would ask for a room from the 6th floor and up for good views.

Hi stayed for a week 12th June with my niece and her 2 children , rooms were very clean but found the staff very unfriendly , especially the maitre `d , he was very rude , lights went off at breakfast and evening meal , despite guests eating , dining room , open until 21.30hrs but food was taken away before that , so could only have what was left , which is very frustrating . Enjoyed pool area but jacuzzi dirty , kids enjoyed ot but would not be going back , note food on friday and Saturday nights were the best when spanish were staying for weekend and no lights put out then or food taken away . . Pepe was very nice and the man on reception was very helpful when we arrived , on a nicer note, Shame really , cos hotel has potential that a bit of tweaking could put right but would not go back .

Room Tip: keep away from rooms near lifts

Just wanted to say a quick word about this hotel because it is far too good not to. I have stayed here 3 times now and just returned home yesterday :'( but we are going again in august so it's not too bad lol :)

The only thing that needs to be said about parasol garden is that it is excellent. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is crystal clear. It is very safe and private. The rooms are spacious, immaculate and there are 3 lifts. Air conditioning is free and there is also a ceiling fan. The food is always very good, tasty and fresh and changes every day, a large selection to suit everybody, I have never had better all inclusive food anywhere. But that being said I have saved the best to last: the staff. Absolutely everybody is pleasant and friendly to you. From the maintenance staff to the reception staff to the director you could not ask for nicer more accommodating people. In particular Pepe at the bar has become a firm friend, I'll go for the best barman in Torremolinos and both Antonios are also super friendly too. The entertainment staff rafa and gisella are really fun and friendly and my daughter cried about having to leave because she has grown to love them so much. Don't look past this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing family break, it is not club 18-30 it's not trying to be, it's about chilling out having a safe place where your children can play and you can eat drink and be merry. LOVE IT.
