stayed here 7-11th jan, and have used this hotel for 10 years now and i just dont understand why people put it down, my guess they just like to moan all the time and go home happy..maid did the room every day changed towles if we needed, food was good always found somthing to eat..and tried some new things as well..bar service was great,some new staff from the hotels that roc hotels close for the winter, but some who have been there sometime and was great to see again, i found that if you try to make friends with the spanish folks there were ok with us,well havd fun the the wednesday night game with them,,and i won..lol..but they were also fun, the only dow side and i hope that the managment look at this is that say you go for breakfast say 9.30, it closed at 10 am..thats ok, but there is no where you can get a tea or coffee till bar opens at 11.am, but that wont stop us returning here..once again a good stay thanks to all at the flamingo

stayed here 26th dec til 5th jan half board lovely place am really glad i dont let bad reviews put me off. have booked 9 days 11th til 20th april enjoyed so much.BUT beware the invading spaniards loud,obnoxious,no respect for other guests most were from barcelona and put the germans and russians in the shade,i kid you not.great room 826.the new year gala dinner was nearly as good as the don pedro and paz espada apart from the scrum created when the dining room doors were opened it was survival of the fittest,it felt like you were at the pamplona bull run it was that scary and all this from a bunch of coffin dodgers.even some of the spanish team of dodgers were very embarassed

Booked in there for 2 weeks, Staff friendly, food was good but mostly cold, soundproofing was terrible, the beds were hard but ok.bathroom big, water always hot. Entertainment was always spanish and awful, bars pricing were good {happy hour}.music by the poolside could be very noisy, hotel is too far from the beach, and right in town centre. Town was dirty with dog poo everywhere, not our type of holiday.

my wife and i decided to try this hotel over new year because of the central position of the hotel in the town,the staff are very good and they rooms are cleaned omn a daily basis,that is the extwent of the good parts of the holiday.
The food was very repeticious,very rarely did you get hot food it was barely warm,the hotel was full of spanish pensioners who continually pushed and shoved their way into the dining room and lifts without a thought for anyone else.
The entertainment was poor with the spanish taking over completely,you had to get to the entertainment area early to get a decent seat but that didn't stop the spanish having a late dinner and just sitting where they liked, no matter how inconvenient it was to other holiday makers .
The chancers of getting a good nights sleep were practically nil as the spanish continually chattered in the corridors and next to the lifts and when they were requested to be quite, they did so and then after a couple of minutes it all started again.
In short we will NOT be returning to this Hotel ,and i would only advise using this hotel if you are spanish as everthing is geared up for them
