Special care is dedicated every day to make customers feeling at ease, surrounding them with a friendly and warm atmosphere. The cuisine is home made and genuine, fusioning traditional basque dishes with Aragon cuisine.Special and very famous are "Gambas al ajillo", prawns in garlic oil and "morcilla de Burgos" a traditional rice and meat black pudding from Burgos. “good place for food and drink”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

I visit Torremolinos two or three times a year and met several friends there last week close to Granvinos restaurant and cannot believe that I have missed such a good place to eat and drink. We were made welcome from the start and the terrace outside is perfect for people watching in the afternoon (when the winter sun made an appearance).

Returned to sample the food at night and the atmosphere inside was brilliant and enjoyed the authentic food and wine on offer on offer here and tried many of the options available. The waiter showed us several awards that the chef has won across Spain and gave us free tasters while we looked at the menu options. All in all I found it a refreshing change and will definitely pay a return visit to this restaurant next time I am on the Costa del Sol. This is the first time I have logged a review despite a lot of travel with my job - and just wish there was a Granvinos in every town!!

“Relax and enjoy time out in this peaceful setting.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

At the bottom of Calle San Miguel with the hustle and bustle of the many shops and bars you come to a peaceful corner, Plaza de San Miguel with the Church of San Miguel and, up the steps, there is the restaurant Granvinos. There are tables indoors and outdoors and it is a pleasant place to sit and watch the world go by while you enjoy a drink, tapas or a full meal. We went to the 'plaza' looking for a different restaurant that we first discovered about 30 years ago; needless to say that one had changed dramatically but we then found Granvinos which was an excellent substitute..so good we went there several times and found the food to be excellent and the staff friendly and welcoming and enjoyed having a chat and a joke with Ismail:)When we go back to Torremolinos the Granvinos will definitely be our restaurant of choice.

“BASQUE COOKING IN TORREMOLINOS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

This restaurant has been opened for 4 years and continues to improve with some amazing dishes.
Tapas or full menu is available both inside in A/C or in the charming terrace in the plaza next to SAN MIGUEL CHURCH--2 mins from Plaza Nogalera.
A family run restaurant with excellent wine by the glass or bottle at acceptable prices.
Sit--enjoy your lunch-dinner as the world goes by .
