“Fantastic trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

I have just landed back from a 5 night, all inclusive stay at this hotel with my partner and friends. After reading the initial reviews, I was a little apprehensive - however I am struggling to find fault! The hotel was clean and presentable and all the staff were extremely polite and friendly. The rooms were basic but well maintained and the cleaners came every day to clean the room/change the linen/towels etc. The location is excellent, situated right on the beach and only a 10 minute taxi journey from Malaga airport (17 euros in a taxi, or 1.60 on the train). It is a little distance from the town, I'd say 30 minutes walk. We walked into town a few times of an evening when it was a little cooler, but I'd recommend jumping in a taxi if you wanted to head into the town during the day. The all inclusive was excellent. There was enough variety on different days and catered to experimental and fussy eaters alike! There was also a constant supply of beers, soft drinks and ice cream which was a bonus! All in all, the four of us had a fantastic time and would go again without a moments hesitation. Also, the chef at the pool side snack bar is quality!! Very friendly chap and the food is cooked fresh to order.

I stayed here 4 nights.. This is less than 10 minutes from the airport. I was worried after reading all negative comments but this hotel is very clean, food was nice entertainment was good.. I stayed in a room which had a pool side view and the room is cleaned each day. Across the hotel less than 2 minute walk is the beach with water sports which i was after ranging from parasailing jet skiing to banana boats.. Amazing! The reception staff were helpful they insured food was available even when we arrived at midnight.. Also breakfast was available at 4 am as we had an early return flight. We even got packed lunch to take away to the airport as we had an early flight... I recommend this hotel as it was clean, helpful staff good entertainment and lots of shops restaurants close by.... Its located in a good place where lots if families come. 9.5/10

First impressions of the hotel were very good. Fantastic reception area, very modern looking. Unfortunately, although our room was clean and tidy, it was adjacent to the tennis courts, ground floor at the rear of the complex. This meant our view was of the rear of the apts in front of ours. The terrace area was constantly in the shade. The hotel was fully booked so we could not change rooms.
The pool areas were very clean and the grounds were immaculate.

The food at this hotel was above average for all inclusive, this was probably because not everyone at the hotel was on the A/I tariff.
The food round the pool was very good. Pizza available to order from the pool bar (although this did take quite some time to prepare it was worth the wait)
A small snack bar next to the main pool served food almost all day, and the quality was very good. Burgers, Hot Dogs, Toasties, Chicken Skewers, Chips all available on A/I and served up by a very friendly chef.

The A/I drinks were also very good, no short measures by the bar staff (actually the opposite), although they did appear stressed during the evening when it was usual for a queue to form at the main bar.
The A/I drinks in the restaurant and pool bar were available self service (beer, wine, soft drinks, water, hot drinks etc.), cocktails available from the bar staff.

The entertainment during the day was almost non stop (darts, archery, etc.), but a simple "no" sufficed if you didn't want to take part. Evening entertainment was in a large marquee at the front of the hotel, and was varied throughout the week. It wasn't the best entertainment we have seen, and the seating in the marquee was quite limited for the size of the hotel, so if you wanted to see the show, you had to get there early. A small bar was set up in the corner but again, with one bar man, queues were the norm, and to be honest, the entertainment wasn't really worth the wait.

We felt secure for our entire stay, and security was visible at the hotel entrance at all times.

The hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport by taxi. It is positioned across the road from the beach, and about 30 minutes walk to the centre of Torremolinos. There are plenty of shops and bars there, although the actual centre is up a steep hill which might not be suitable for some.

Benalmadena was @ 90 minutes walk, but it was a very pleasant walk along the promenade (looky looky men excepted), and it was well worth the walk as the marina area is very nice indeed. Again there is a nice mixture of shops & bars, along with boat trips galore. You do tend to be pestered by every bar/restaurant/boat trip person you walk past, but I suppose they do have a lot of competition & they have to make a living.

We rarely return to the same hotel, as it's a big world and there's not enough time to see but a fraction of it.
If we did return to the same hotel, we would probably stay at this hotel again, although I'm sure there are better in the Torremolinos area, but the value for money here was really quite good.

During our stay mid-May the weather was mixed, with some rain & strong winds. The pools were very cold, and because of the weather, not many were using them. We did manage to return with a tan though :)

I would recommend this hotel, although there are shortcomings, we still enjoyed our holiday.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the hotel itself, rather than one of the apartments, although many of the apartmen...

Reading some of these reviews makes me wonder if it's the same hotel we just returned from?? Me and my husband and our little girl just returned from a week all inclusive, and its fantasic! The food is delicious and there is choice for everyone, different nationalities, kids, babies etc! The man who does the snackbar throughout the day is brilliant, he never stops and the food is always freshly cooked before your eyes, he even asks how well you want your chicken. The hotel is spotless and rooms are cleaned top to bottom, the cleaners do a great job, even to the point of polishing the golden sign outside the place! Entertainment through the day id great for kids and adults, and Laus and Kira the entertainers really work hard with the children to ensure there having fun! Location is beautiful and the weather was boiling, overall could NOT fault this hotel 10/10 will return!

We stopped from the 12th - 19th June and enjoyed our week and the kid's loved the experience with it being their 1st trip abroad.I enjoyed the face they have a table tennis table (easily pleased) and the girlfriend loved the pool(s).Room was fine though paying extra for a sea view superior room was a con and we were on the side that caught little sun.I did also speak to about a couple from Preston who were also locked out of their room on departure day with their luggage still in there but we were told to be out for 12.Food was good though not as good as a similar set up at a hotel in Tenerife which had more choice and variety. All inclusive beer must have been alcohol free as it had no effect other than it made me tired drinking the stuff though I am now told (by someone I know who stopped there last year) that one of the unmarked beer pumps in the pool bar contains the 0% version ha ha oops !! Special mention to the friendly pleasant American man who meets and greets as you go in and out for food and helps muck in with the table staff and also the lad that serves food in the hut by the pool he makes this fast paced job look easy.Reception staff were also helpful as were security. All in all a good family holiday and nice location and we are thinking of coming back in a couple of years :)

Good hotel, made very welcome on arrival, room clean and modern, only problem Ihad was with connecting door to next room ,very noisy from people in next room, food was good plenty of choice dining roo staff very good especialy gent on door, very good location right accross from a lovely beach , walked to Benalmadea a few times took us about 3 hours there and back with half an hour for a well deserved pint , hotel pool area was nice but could do with being bigger, hotel states no sun beds to be reserved but some had towels on for a good three hours with no one there, all inclusive guests could serve themselves with bear ,wine and soft drinks but had to get in line for spirits, food available from pool bar between meal times, guy in kiosk was brilliant, never stops , also Ava in bar was always smiling and very hard working,
In all a brilliant week ,Thanks to all ,

Room Tip: Try to get a room in main building, and check no connectig door
