“Excellent location, great of you're on a budget but AWFUL food!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2010

The best feature about the Los Jazmines is purely the location - across the road from the beach and it remains quite central to most shops along the sea front of Torremolinos. After having requested a double bed since it was my partner's first holiday abroad we got placed in a room with two single beds. Upon querying this we were told that the request was only valid if they had double rooms, which seemed to be very few & far between. There were very few British people staying in the hotel so if you want to gain a proper Spanish experience then this hotel is probably not bad. We had opted for the half board stay at the hotel but after attempting to eat breakfast only twice we decided that we could not stomach the same poor selection of foods, which looked as if they'd been out for days, and ended up eating out for every meal time from that point. This is a good budget hotel & I would STRONGLY suggest that if anyone wants to stay here that it should be under a self-catering holiday.

Very close to the beach, small swiming pool - probably too small for high season. We had a bungalow room - nice option. Very good breakfast - good choice. 20 min. walk from train station and main center of Torremolinos (from hotel you have to climb since the center is on quite a big hill...).

Just arrived back after a 1 week stay. The service on arrival was very good and efficient.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The room service was good regular change of towells etc. The breakfast was buffet style and a good choice was offered including English and continental types. The pool area and gardens were excellent. The location was spot on next to the sea and a short walk to the town centre. We were on a evening flight back to the UK ,and the hotel Manager gave us a few extra hours in our room so instead of been out for 12.00 we were ok till 14.00hrs which was a great help, getting a shower etc. On leaving the hotel a taxi to the airport was called (also told us how much it should be) the taxi arrived in a couple of minutes.

From the moment we arrived in this hotel the quality of service was obvious. Check-in process was quick and easy and everything was explained to us - breakfast times, check-out times etc. We booked a room safe for the week which came to €13 (€3 was refundable at end of stay) Our room was clean and tidy, We asked for extra pillows before we went out and they were in our rooms when we got back. The beds were comfortable, the room had blackout curtains as well as normal ones to keep out the heat and light. The hotel truly was right next to the beach and 10 mins from the town centre. for anyone who finds the steps in the centre difficult (you'll see what we mean when you get there) there is a lift available to skip the stairs. Just ask someone and they will tell you where it is. Breakfast was excellent - between 8am and 10am there was such a range of choice. Fruit, pastries, continental, cooked breakfast, toast or just cereal. We had no need to request anything else from the staff during our stay, but every day or rooms were remade, fresh towels etc and everyday when we left for breakfast / day trip the staff were cleaning downstairs - it was immaculately clean. We didn't find out until the end of the week about the WiFi available in reception but will keep that in mind for our next visit. On the last day we were able to leave our bags with reception as we had an evening flight and they even called a taxi for us when we left. Next time I go over, it'll be this hotel I choose

Me and my wife stay one week in june 2009, we book from Neckerman a standard double room with halfboard and i thing i was stay at aparthotel not in hotel.
I try to tell the good and bed things, so...
Plus was: very very good services at restaurant and reception, very close to the beach, good english breakfest, 15 min walk to centre and renfe train, aircon in room, cleaness in room every day, we had a late check-in and they keep dinner for us in room.
Minus was: the same breakfest all 7 days (I know...i like it...but for others could be dificult), dinner with only 3 principal dishes, beds and standard room not too good,
at the bar is a guy who surcharge every time the bill, small pool with not too many sunchaire.
If i had to choose Los Jazmines Hotel it will be for the location and for the services.
Be aware there is a Hotel and Aparthotel Los Jazmines.

When we arrived at the hotel, I was very impressed with how clean it was. The hotel room was a good size and had air conditioning and a balcony with a sea room view. I was pleased to sea blackout blinds for afternoon naps! The shower was lovely. The service was very good and they looked after us right till we left. The breakfast buffet was vast and caterered for what ever you wanted, whether it was a fry up, cereal or continental. The pool was basic but a nice size and became very quiet around 1pm to 3pm. To get to the beach all you had to do was cross the road!

Things to be aware of:
The tv had many channels, however only 2 english ones which were CNN and world news.
You will need to put a towel on the pool beds to reserve them early.
The bathroom felt like a kiln, despite having airconditioning in the main room.
The walls are thin, so you will hear everyone talking in the corridor. Take earplugs.
There were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room.
You have to walk about 20 mins to get to the main town. However you don't feel it takes that long because there is alot to distract you on the way.

Stayed at Losjasmine for two weeks good value for money paid, found staff to be very friendly, only downfall was not much selection for breakfast and you had to be an early bird if you wanted any. Pool area very nice, location brilliant and the hiawian restauraunt on the front was brill.
