Most important they had transport waiting for us at Malaga Arport. Arrived at Hotel late evening - checked in. Found Suite - Just 2 of us but it slept 4. Large double bed. Suite on corner with a wrap round balcony. Had the sun all day and facing beach. In fact everything I asked for. Booked through Miguel at Hotel`s reservations. Kitchen with 4 ring cooker and extractor fan + window.
Bedroon and Living room have patio doors to balcony. Air Con in bedroom and Living room +
Radiators in all rooms. Very pleasant stay.
Minuses - Furniture although comfortable needs updating. TV is a joke so small you`d need binoculars to see the screen but very good for Radio programmes.
Yes we would book again.

Room Tip: suites are best butstudios are much cheaper

We were back at the Bajondillo again for the fourth time for three weeks, and it is as always not the Ritz, but clean, with efficient service, an excellent value - only 45 euros per night, an outstanding location at Bajondillo beach as well as at the base of San Miguel Street, and regular entertainment in the social room and the cafeteria most evenings. Yes, the crowd is generally of the senior variety, and the decor is from the late 60's or early 70's, but that really is not an issue. You're at a great location with a balcony overlooking the sea, you can do your own limited cooking in the mini-kitchen, and you have great access to train, bus and air transportation nearby. Also, where else for this price do you get complimentary shuttle transportation to and from the airport. We had a flight delay and were communicating by email with the Bajondillo by email from the Dallas airport explaining that we would probably miss our flight and needed a later shuttle. Sure enough, when we arrived the shuttle was waiting for us. I am never disappointed with the reliability of Bajondillo. Why else would you see many of the same guests that you recognize year after year.

Room Tip: For afternoon sun in the fall, as for a room overlooking Pasaje Bajondillo - the issue may be night...

Great location across the road from a lovely beach. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were adequate with nice bathroom and nice balcony. Did not eat there as we like to try out different restaurants and cafes. Good bars and restaurants nearby. Lovely long prom for walking. Short up hill walk to the old town and lots of shops. Entertainment every night, though we went to local bars most nights. The rooms are slightly dated but clean and adequate and we spent very little time in there anyway. Would not think it would be suitable for children as there is really nothing there for them, not even a kiddies pool. A more mature clientele than most spots. Not a great amount of sunshine around the pool as the sun leaves the garden early afternoon and everyone is squashed into the one corner that still has sunshine. Over all experience, had very pleasant holiday there.

Room Tip: Higher is better if you want sun and views

The best part for us all room come with kitchen, where we cooked everyday.

Third time we go to Bajondillo for a 10 days stay (October), with 2 kids.
As you may read, it is a little bit dated, but overall, it is a great place to be.
10 minute from the Airport, you can park right there (for free!).
Appartment was available early during the afternoon, nice view on the sea and on the Bajondillo beach and on the swimming pool
You are directly next to the shopping street going to the city center, and you have nice chiringuetto in front of the hotel to enjoy nice steak.
I would not choose another location in Torremolinos.
Staff is nice, breakfast is very good (nice meat).

You can't expect much at these prices and you don't get much. Rooms are adequate and reasonably clean but in dire need of some t.l.c. and a re-fit. If you're ion a tight budget and want to cook in your bedroom then this may be for you. Great pool and quite well postioned opposite Bajondillo beach. Immediate access to the upper town and lower promenade so a good all round spot. Bar and food are fine and each evening there was some 'live' entertainment. All in all keep smikling and enjoy the 'extra' spending money.

Stayed here for a little wind-down after 4 nights previously in Seville. Had a little shock on checking in - my friend who had done the booking - had booked the wrong nights!! But the reception staff were lovely and found a lovely apartment for the 3 of us.
It was a corner apartment - room 7010 - and the balcony was absolutely huge! If you are staying at these apartments in a 1 bedroom apartment ask for a corner apartment - e.g. 7010, 6010, 5010 etc. Or to get sun on your apartment all day long ask for 7009, 8009, 9009, 6009, 5009 etc. The higher the number the higher up you are.
The apartments themselves are clean, but simple. No kettle which in this day and age is surprising - we had our own fortunately. Excellent but small tv, which had the usual Spanish and German channels, but also BBC world news, Sky news, CNN and another English language business news channel. Free wifi - just ask reception for code for access.
The grounds are pleasant and the pool is adequate. The sun loungers etc are free, but if you want a mattress on top of the sun lounger that will set you back 3 euros. Breakfast is 8 euros, but has plenty of choice - fruit juice, cereals, bread rolls, cheese, ham, turkey/chicken, sousages, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, baked beans, cakes, pastries, tea, coffee.
I had stayed at these apartments once before back in the 1980s, and I enjoyed the place then as I did on this occasion.
There is nothing fancy here - but it is a pleasant spot - right by the beach. It is an arduous walk up into the older part of the town, but there are enough bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity ranging from Burger King to more relaxing places to eat. There are supermarkets nearby for your supplies. The only real need to climb up to the older part of part is for the bars, clubs and better shopping establishments.
The Bajondillo also provided a free transfer to the airport, which we made use of on our day of departure. You have to book this at least 2 days prior to your departure though. Trains run from Torremolinos to the airport and cost about 2 euros.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner apartment to get a HUGE balcony - only applicable for 1 bedroom apartments - not st...
