“lovely rooms and comfy bed, but ...............”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

This hotel was ok, rooms lovely and nice comfy beds, however for pool area was tiny for the size of the hotel, we went to the beach every day which was lovely. Food wasn't nice breakfast was the best, but evening meal was awful, good choice of alcoholic drinks mind and bar staff very pleasant.

We stayed as a couple, on All inclusive, for 7 nights at the end of May. The food selection was fantastic and the drinks were superb, one night they even had free champagne.
The staff are around cleaning the Hotel all the time. We were very impressed.
Daniel in the restaurant was so helpful and polite.
The room was big enough and very clean. Beds were very comfortable and no problem for the Internet connection on my Laptop (on the first floor)
The first floor (pool view) is the best idea, then you don't need to use the lifts.
The only small problems were the 30 minute walk to the beach, and no entertainment in the evenings until 10 / 10.30pm. But don't be put off by this, it's a superb hotel. We would definitely go there again.

Room Tip: A room with a Pool view.

The restaurant and snack bar serve good quality and good variety of food and drink. A full week here was enjoyable without getting tired of the fare on offer. All staff were friendly and helpful. The walk to the beach is a nice stroll through pedestrian shopping areas, it was easy enough with a push chair and the beach is lovely. The hotel is convenient for public areas such as the main square and for the airport train and bus services. The slightly odd hotel layout and steps to the beach mean that the infirm would struggle. The kids action and entertainment was mainly targeted at Spanish speakers but the hotel is in Spain! All in all well done and thank you.

We stayed here for 2 weeks its quite a large hotel with quite a small pool for it size. Most of the staff nothing was too much trouble but one for the security staff & some of the older reception staff were just the opposite everything was an effort & were quite rude. however Raul, Migel & Daniel (restaurant staff) made our stay special & a big thank you to them.
The food was excellent with a very good choice to chose from too. On certain evening the chefs would do a carvery, selection of local cold meat & special desert. I don't eat sea food but it was not a problem plenty of other things to chose from.

The room are not a bad size with a balcony are very clean but the beds are so uncomfortable the floor was softer. You get free use of the safe in your room & they are cleaned every day too.

My wife and I have recently returned from a pleasant week's all inclusive stay at this hotel. Staff are really friendly and hardworking. This includes Reception, bar, restaurant, housekeeping and maintenance staff. The food was very good with a wide choice on offer. The hot Torremolinos weather combined with the impressive Marconfort Griego Hotel ensured we had a good holiday and my wife and I would not hesitate in returning in the not too distant future!! Muchos Gracias!!

Just stayed here for a 3 night break with my friend who was on a budget.
As said previously, the hotel is inland about a 20 minute walk to the beach (but some lovely hidden bars on the way - look carefully).
On arrival, were greeted (sort of) by 2 male rather miserable reception staff & we had to ask where everything was (pool, bar, restaurant etc) -not the best start!
The room was clean, tidy & perfectly adequate with a full bathroom, and plenty of hanging space (& enough hangers for two ladies lol).
The room was cleaned every day & towels replaced as required but the balcony not cleaned whilst we were there (we know because we managed to bring sand back on our first day!!)
The food was fine, no-one would go hungry with plenty of choice and options. I have to say the overall eating experience was not a relaxing one as the hotel was very busy (it was a weekend & is obviously a popular Spanish hotel), the tables are very close together & a lot of the guests seemed intent on piling their plates, letting their unsupervised children run riot & generally being loud. That said, the food was constantly replenished, tables cleared & remade & the staff in the restaurant (& bars) worked extremely hard and seemed happy in their work - don't know what's wrong with the reception staff who seem to have 'jolly' in comparison!
The pool area is only small & as said, unless you're up early will struggle to get a bed.
It does seem very popular with same sex parties of all nationalities so can get a bit loud around the pool and of an evening.
The all inclusive drinks were fine with a good selection and to upgrade your drink to an international brand was not a rip off like some hotels. The staff worked very hard but there was ALWAYS a queue at all bars & no drinks waiters. I do think the the bars & restaurant were extremely under staffed - who wants to wait in a queue 20 people deep when you could be sat in the sun?.

Struggled to get on the wi-fi apart from the first night, that's not great for a lot of people so be warned
Don't know if i would stay here again but that is because I prefer a calmer, more relaxed holiday in pleasant surroundings these days & you don't get that here but for what it is and as long as you know what you're booking, it is probably good value for money.

Pleasant hotel 10mins walk from el paseo maritimo. The food is varied and nice with all inclusive what more could you want. The only downside is that the walls are too thin so,if you are a light sleeper you will, awake easily and the beds could do with new mattresses. However I do highly recommend it
