“I intend to be completely honest”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

We stayed here for 6 nights in September. Food isn't great, but it is food (they do have chips!)
All inclusive gives you 3 meals a day and free drinks from 10am. If you require air con and TV remotes, you have to give a 10 Euro deposit at reception. There is a gym if you so desire, but it does smell damp in there.
Rooms are clean, but contain furniture apparently from the '70s. Double rooms are twin rooms with the beds pushed together! Sliding door to the balcony isn't great, stiff and didn't lock (room 503).
We hooked up with some British people which made the stay enjoyable. The hotel staff speak enough English to get by, but you need to stand your ground at the bar (they seem to favour Spanish nationals). When you do get served, it is polite to get drinks for all your new found British mates! Entertainment is geared towards the Spanish, but I managed to plug my phone in to the DJ equipment to get some non-Spanish tracks while lazing around the pool! Pool is cleaned daily, although the chlorine is a little strong. There is great amusement to onlookers when they start the sprinklers in the morning - everyone running round trying to keep their towels dry. I threw one of the hotel towels over a sprinkler head to stop it drowning our stuff! There is a bus stop just over the road should you wish to venture to Torremolinos (1.45 Euro per person per direction). 10 minute walk gets you to the train station from which you can get to Fuengirola and Malaga. Garage right near the hotel gives supplies when required. Also a self service launderette is there. Buses and trains run every 15/20 mins. Beach is a walk away, but worth it. Sun loungers are 3 Euros each for a day.
Odd numbered rooms are the ones to go for, overlooking the pool.
All even numbered rooms have a waft from the garage.
Rooms 507 and 509 have no balcony.

The hotel is 15mins from the airport, so your out in the sticks. It's 10 Euros into Torremolinos. The beach is a good 20mins walk then a good 45mins along the beach strip. The hotel is fully spanish, staff members do not speak english so arent helpful at all. There isnt alot of choice of food was mainly fish and pasta.None of the food had any signs on so you dont know what you are eating. The rooms are really basic and our balcony overlooked a petrol station and a dual carriageway. You could also see planes taking off we were that close to the airport. The hotel doesnt have alot of staff, you are left waiting at the bar or restaurant for at least 15mins to get a drink. Its not all inclusive as there are only selected drinks on the menu you can have the rest you have to pay for. There are no activites near this hotel so its very boring, you need to be prepared to travel as the hotel entertainment is all in spanish too. This is not a 3 star rating, its about a 1.

Room Tip: Rooms on the other side overlook the pool, make sure you request this otherwise you will be overlook...

Food rubbish, not much choice and not labelled. Staff didn't speak much english at all but they were very polite and helpful. Activities, nothing other than volleyball and mini golf and nothing for the kids in the evening. They had a pool for the little ones but the main pool went from deep to even deeper. The rooms look like they haven't been updated since the hotel was built although the maids did do a good job keeping them clean. Transport was convenient. Overall it was the worse choice of hotel and will not be returning again.

Room was dark and dank but clean, beds towels changed daily toiletries etc replenished. We went all inclusive. Food was ok could mostly find something we liked, pasta paella fish salads chicken fruits and soups. The dishes wre not labelled so had to guess sometimes. The only times snacks were available were an hour or so before the dining room opened before lunch and teatime, which were cold pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers breads some pastries and cold meats and cheese, not very palateable. They were shortstaffed so had to wait and wait at the bar then they tended to serve Spanish guests first. Pool was nice and not overcrowded hardly any sunbeds though so had to lie on towels on the grass. The worst part for us was the lack of entertainment in the evening there was a kids disco then they had a bit of a disco until 1200 mostly spanish. We saw a spanish pianist one night and they had Mr and Mrs, again in spanish. Ourselves and 17 year old daughter were bored stiff. This hotel is in Las Alamos a suburb of Torremolinos there were a couple of bar restaurants nearby and it was a 20 minute walk to the beach and half hour walk along the front to Torremolinos. We tended to use the public transport systems to visit Mijas Malaga Fuengirola and Torremolinos. We spent quite a bit travelling out as hotel so quiet and boring at night. We would return to Costa del sol again but not to this hotel. If you get a really cheap deal it would be fine so you use money saved to go out or if you want an average hotel with ok food and want to chill out its fine. We didn't really get a cheap deal so we were disappointed with the lack of evening entertainment.

Room Tip: Ask for room on the poolside of hotel as the rooms at the front overlook a petrol station and busy m...

Me and my little girl stayed in this hotel for 3 nights booked it as it was only 10 minutes from airport and did'nt want a long transfer just for the short amount of days we were there. Check in was quick and the receptionist was helpful. Rooms have a small bathroom and small balcony but there clean and the towels and bed linen are clean. The hotel needs a make over and updating a little. It is a very spanish hotel not many british stay here. If your looking for british bars or gift shops etc you won't find any round here its in like a residential area but a nice area. We walked for miles to find a gift shop and bar for an english breakfast but never found one. We just used a moroccan style cafeteria for a cheese and ham toasted sandwich for breakfast which were lovely and which was down the side street with a few other bars and a supermarket. Beach is about a 15 min walk its a lovely walk but all you will find on the beach is bars no shops and a very long car park that seems stretch as far as the beach. There is little to do in Los Alamos. The train station is just around corner from hotel which is about 1.80 euro which takes you into torremolinos its self. There is a mcdonalds virutally right next door to hotel. The hotel is situated on main road but if you get a pool view room you won't hear the traffice. The hotel is clean throughout. The pool area and garden is relaxing there is alot of spanish familys the pool was'nt over busy and always went quiet around 1pm and we were just the only ones round pool.Theres a crazy golf for kids and a kiddies disco. Pool is kept clean and well maintained and there is a life guard on duty throughout day as its quite a big pool and is quite deep too theres is a kiddies pool to. Could do with some more sun loungers. This hotel is ok for what you pay for it, if you just want a bed ,clean towels( which we had changed everyday) a mirror, and a pool area this is an ok hotel. Im not one to moan really cause only go for the sun not to sit in a room allday and inspect every area of the room with a fine tooth comb just to complain as long as i got a mirror and a sink im happy. The bar could do with a memeber of staff on at all times as you have to phone to reception for service.Theres also a games room with snooker table football table and air hockey and a vending machine with drinks and snacks in.

Room Tip: Pool view room

Not in Torremolinos, on outskirts. Hotel clean enough, but no air-con, room stinks of dampness. All-inclusive??? Never anyone behind bar, had to constantly phone reception to ask for service. Restaurant - food never very hot, lukewarm. If you like fish or pasta, you might be alright. Soup and fruit ok. Only all-inclusive holiday I've been on and actually lost 3lb in a week!!! No entertainment, kids disco at 10pm for a short while??? No money exchange, had to get train into Torremolinos. Petrol station right in front of hotel which is next to a VERY busy road. Front rooms overlook this road. Pool ok. Only member of Staff who attempted to make you feel welcome was in restaurant, didn't get his name, but he's wasted in this hotel!!! Not a "holiday hotel", more like a travel-lodge without the facilities! Defo won't be back and won't recommend.
