superb hotel, helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to assist us. All areas of hotel spotlessly clean. Food and service excellent. Close to beach, shops and bars. We stayed in four star hotel in Torremolinos February this year which was also excellent, but we will certainly choose to return to Don Paquito for the personal service we received. In the four star we were just a room number, here the guests are recognised and acknowledged. For some people a downside could be the lack of entertainment, but there are lots of neighbouring hotels with entertainment every night which we visited, and also the local bars had entertainment. The bar and lounge at the Paquito is especially friendly, and being a smaller hotel you have every opportunity of meeting other guests. Our friends came over from Benalmadena on several occasions to visit us and absolutely loved this hotel, - their hotel was so big and noisy, with children running riot, and after visiting them we were so pleased to return to Paquito. Cant wait to return.

I would never stay at this hotel again. Although the staff were, in the main, friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is in an Ok location and its clean Im afraid the food was inedible. The selection of food is very poor, it was always cold, no matter what time we went for dinner and some of it didnt look fit for human consumption. Very disappointed as this was the first time we had ever done half board and we certainly wont do it again. We ended up having to eat out as I couldn't face dinner in the hotel most nights. Breakfast isn't much better - we were served garlic mushrooms one morning!!

The other downside of the hotel is the walls are like paper. We had a couple of early nights as we hired a car to do a bit of touring and were unfortunate to be right next door to the loudest snorer on the Costa!

All in all, very disappointed and I wont be recommending this hotel (or indeed Torremolinos) to anyone, unless I dont like them!

one of the best hotels i have stayed in. i found the food was very good . the hotel was spotlessly clean the rooms all had hairdryer and fridge also a tv. i found this hotel to be of the highest standared and would not hesitate to book it again also the staff were incredibly helpfull and polite.the food was very good, an average of 6 starters to chose from and 5 main courses and to finish you had a choice of at least 9 sweets.the area it was in was convenient for bars and shops and a short walk took you to the town center,due to the position of the hotel it was quiet in the evening so sleeping was not a problem.the beds were larger than i have found in many spanish hotels and the mattress was of good quality unlike some hotels i have visited.the pool was of adequte size and the surround was again spotlesly clean.

we had a5night break here and enjoyed every minute. We found the food excellant with agood variety which should suit everybody. The staff were very helpful and freindly. Our only complaint was that the walls were very thin and would advise taking ear plugs! I will definatelyreturn but would notgo back in high season as Ithink it would be very noisy.
