“Just waiting to book again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2012

I have been 5 or 6 times to this superb hotel. The hotel ratings speak for themselves. I can only say anyone who complains about the hotel its services or staff should not bother leaving home, as nothing will please them.
The staff are brilliant and the hotel is like a home from home. Food selection and quality is 5 star. The hotel is located in a nice quirt area, but only a gentle stroll to the centre of Torremolinos. Try Jimmy's shop facing you at the bottom of the steps. Drink and anything on sale will be cheaper than anywhere else.
For entertainment go to any of the Sol hotels next door. Talk and banter with the staff and you will get really looked after.

Room Tip: All good rooms. Dont worry which you get

Just come back from this delightful little Hotel the rooms are fine the food is good the staff are so friendly especialy Maria on front desk, she carnt do enough for you, if anybody knocks this Hotel theres something wrong with them the location is great and what made it special for us we met up with a couple who we had met in Turkey last year ,Stan & Wendy we stayed in room 302 overlooking the Pool and the suns on the balcony all day so if poss try and book one of the Pool view rooms. one slight niggle was that the Walls are very thin between the rooms and if you have the misfortune to get a loud mouth pair of Women in the next room as we did coming in at 1.0am and shouting and balling till about 2.30 am its not good and they were both in there Sixtys so [dont blame the young] everyone on the floor could hear the noise esp the mouth from London, having said that it was not the fault of the Hotel and had I have complained they would have done something about it but we did have a week of sleep desturbed nights. and it still didnt put us off this lovely little Hotel and we would return in a heart beat. all I can say is go you will love it , YANTO 48

Room Tip: High floor pool view rooms are on the sunnyside of Hotel

we have just revisited this hotel for the second time and as usual we were not dissappointed. The rooms and hotel facilities are of a very high standard and the staff are friendly, attentive and good humoured. The hotel is in a fairly quiet area of torremolinos but there are plenty of shops bars and restaraunts close by. However anyone wishing to eat at the hotel will not be dissappointed. Most of the fellow guests we spoke to could not understand how this hotel is rated 3 star and not 4 star. I think it has something to do with the minimum pricing levels in spain.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a nice quiet visit to torremolinos as it does not cater for rowdier groups or the all inclusive drinkers. However, should anyone require something livelier there is the excellent Bar Chapo by the side of the hotel which has sky sports, good music and a warm welcome from Del and his lovely wife Toni.
We have stayed in many hotels on the CostaDel Sol and would reccomend this one most highly.

Room Tip: Rooms with a pool view have all day sunshine. Take your own kettle for the room ( not provided ). Ro...

This hotel was recommended by a friend and i must say we were not disappointed at all I was there with my daughter, sister and neice. It was my daughters 18th birthday on our departure day and the staff in the dining room made our last few hours special by providing a lovely breakfast including a cake for her. Damien the waiter was very attentive to us, much appreciated, also patricia at the desk was wonderful, she is due her baby in May, all the best to her. Will be returning to this gem of a hotel in May with my mum, can't wait.

Room Tip: pool view rooms get a lot of sun

Just got back from a five night half-board break at the Don Paquito. We went with Monarch Holidays who provided all of our requirements including flights, transfers and hotel. The only slight niggle was that I had pre-booked a special diet meal on both the outward and return flights, but it was not available. However, the flight staff arranged for fruit and salad to be served as an alternative, and said that they will organise a refund of the cost. Not really bothered about that to be truthful, so other than that, they were great and I will use them again next time without hesitation.

Hotel room was small but clean with service every day including Sunday - which included changing towels. I am glad that we had asked for a pool view as this was a little bit more private and is also where the sun shone all afernoon and evening, with the street side being in the shade most of the time.

Food was very good, plenty of options, fresh mixed types of salads and fruit available along with main courses and desserts. I would really liked to have tried a bit of everything each evening, but alas, I was too full. I made a gallant effort, but unfortunately fell at the first fence. No isues there. Breakfast was good too, with bacon eggs and the usual options for the healthy types out there...

Wines, usual prices at the table, about E11 per bottle, with drinks at the bar quite reasonable.

Staff very helpful and friendly. If I could change one thing, it would be to refurbish the bathroom of our room. It was a little bit tired and needed a bit of TLC with some porcelain staining and a leaky tap. However, I would not let that put me off going again. Overall a very good little hotel, with very good food and very good staff. The location is close to the front. Prices out and about for lunch are expensive with the average single course seafood based lunch with a glass of wine costing about E32 for two people.

Room Tip: Pool side gets the sun.

We spent four nights here at the end of February, booked mainly because of previous reviews by others. We were not disapointed, everything was first cllass. Would not hesitate to go back. Location, food, staff, cleanliness and facilities exceded our expectations. The food in particular was the best we have had at this quality of hotel, the other really nice touch was free wi-fi throughout the hotel.

Room Tip: Pool side higher level for some later sun.

The hotel staff were amazing. They made our holiday. It was a friends and family trip for my aunt's 60th birthday. All the staff from reception to the lady who cleaned our rooms made us all feel so welcomed and treated my aunt like a queen. The rooms are clean, the food excellant. We received free champagne from the manager and also from the bar staff. Any questions we asked they would have an answer or if not find out and got back to us straight away. We met many people who went back to this hotel year after year, which is no surprise.
Location is beautiful, lots of shops and bars, really recommend the Irish experience, lovely staff and exspecially Kenny (excellant singer) tell him Margret and the girls send their love. Do not go to Theresa's bar (next to hotel) she kicked us out for not ordering another drink within 30 minutes, no lie.
Special thanks to Manager, Maria, Debbie, Damien, Lola, who made our holiday the best ever.
