“Great little hotel, fantastic staff!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago via mobile

This is a great hotel located right between torremolinos and benalmadena. 5 min walk from the beach front, 2 min walk to a mercadona(it's on the same street).
When we arrived our 7month old daughter was not on the booking not the hotels fault, they apologised they didn't have a cot ready for us and they put us in a room with a queen size bed which was big enough for all the of us. The next day we moved to a different room which was bigger and had a lovely little travel cot with lots of nice soft blankets in. The rooms some would say are a bit dates and basic personally having lived in Spain I would say it's a typical Spanish hotel decor, they are spotless and perfect as a base for any holiday. The food is lovely, it was more Spanish home cooked food then English which we thought was great.
The staff at this hotel is what makes it fantastic, always friendly and saying hello. One particular staff member stood out for us Tomas on the front desk, we enquires about the biopark(a zoo) and he found out for us it was cheaper to book through the hotel and when we booked he also went out of his way to find out bus times, where they stopped and printed us a map from the bus stop to the park. He was always talking to our daughter and entertaining her,
she loved him. The pool was a bit cold for a 7month old baby so we sat on the lovely sun beds but didn't go in. Highchairs in the restaurant were great, the right height to sit at the table.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone, but especially families great value for money.

Went on a budget holiday and for that reason it served the purpose. We were 3 x families with 4 young children in all.
This area of Toremollinos is not very nice , looks a bit run down with quite a few abandoned projects. We still had lovely walks though but had to go further , to Benalmadena.
The hotel :the rooms are very basic but nothing inconvenienced us so much as to complain. We knew what to expect.Old air conditioning but working and no extra charge. The fridge was 1Euro / day. They rooms were kept clean.
The food is terribly repetitive but plenty. We went for half board but regretted it, should have had just breakfast.
The pool is ok. A bit small. Can get crowded. The children had so much fun though .....They just loved it .
The young man at the reception: brilliant. The hotel's most valuable asset.
All in all , we had a good holiday but most days we left the hotel in the morning and returned in the evening. If you expect luxury or a bargain , this isn t it ; it's just a camping base with the necessary facilities , no luxuries.

We have just returned from Los Arcos 16th March 2015 and have too say that this is probably the best 3 star Hotel we have stayed in. The Hotel is ideally situated with just a short stroll to the beach or the Marina and we have to say the Hotel Manager, who is also the owner, is absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and he would keep the bar open 24/7. Breakfast is wonderful, full cooked or simply cakes and pastries and an endless supply. We would have no problems booking this Hotel again.

Returned yesterday after a two week stay half board. Staff were efficient, friendly and professional.. Good selection of food available so never went hungry. Can't please everyone all the time particularly professional moaners such as vegetarians (please go self catering so others don't have to listen to your whinging). The place was spotless and would have no hesitation returning.

the hotel is very clean, the staff very helpful, the food is ok-but nothing special- we ate out as much as we ate in. the spoiler for us was our lovely little double bedded room (301) had a bathroom with no room to swing a cat, my husband who is 6'2'' had to go visit the loo in the lobby as the one in the bathroom was so near the bath he could not sit down, the bath had a hole which was patched and the toilet cistern chipped, although there was a bath only shower fitting was available.

We have really enjoyed our week here. Very clean, fresh towels almost daily and fresh linen couple of times in the week. Breakfast is your basic continental and English fry but quite adequate. Fruit sometimes sadly lacking, mainly appe, orange and pear. Would have like yoghurt but Mercadona is next door so we just bought some ourselves. Evening meals are a bit 'samey' but nothing wrong with them. Perfectly edible. We just went out a couple of times for a change. Plenty of restaurants with ten minutes walking. Only drawback is the noise in the corridors and room to room. Wafer thin walls, you can hear an awful lot from next door. Lol.

Where to start! Arrival was quick and easy. A warm welcome by the gent on reception, who took all our details and sent us to our room. He even apologised for no sea view but we have a little bit. We went up the small but adequate lift, along the corridor and through into our room. We booked bed and breakfast and while not the biggest room its a fair size. Lots of space for clothes, though needs more clothes hangers. A safe and mini bar that you hire at cost. Twin beds that are smart and clean, I could smell the fresh air off them. No tumble drier here.
The room is spotless, even along the skirting boards! The bedside cabinets have been polished and shined majic. The bathroom is almost as big as the room itself. Big basin, bath and over bath shower. The shower was not so great until we had no hot water, when we asked for it to be looked at it was. We had went out for a short time, showers fixed(now power shower) and loads of hot water.
The staff are fab, even the ones who don't quite understand English. The reception has both day and night staff, they know who you are, which room is yours and ask what your plans for the day are. Helpful and curteous.
The waiter in the dining area reminds me of Tony Bennett! He is even called Tony. The mans a star, treats everyone as if he has known them for years. Nothing is beyond him, you have a preferanc e for something just ask. We had breakfast every day. The toaster is a bit slow but hey you talk to the other guests at his time. The food is buffet style but constantly topped up. There is hot and cold, cereals and continental. Which while we stayed we picked out at least seven different nationalities everyone was catered for. We even saw some boiled eggs being pocketed.
The rest of the hotel was spick and span clean. No rubbish, the leaves from the trees were picked up every day. The bar area was small and functional, the pool area was the same (enough sunbeds too) and the terraced area had loads of space to catch up with the other guests after a day of sight seeing.
Outside the hotel the buses pass every twenty minutes going right up and down the coast.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony
