“Simply one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

We've travelled to many hotels all over the world and I can honestly say this is one of the best I have ever stayed in. Mercedes and her team provided us with a first class stay. Excellent, flawless service. Perfect hotel and well appointed rooms in a great location. An absolute must visit and well worthy of the high rating on tripadvisor and booking.com. We will be returning soon !

Room Tip: We stayed in the Room Khao Lak, which has sea views and a private terrace which is a real sun trap...

We have spent 2 weeks in the southeren of Spain and his boutique villa was the best place we have stayed .
We have enjoyed the very personal service and attention of the Villa's owner Mrs. Mercedes Boto Seco which is also an architect in her profession . It is all noted in the design of the villa to the smallest details .
The Vila is located out of Marbella down town and port , about 15 minutes drive fronm the marina .
The location is excellant as it is on the hills slopes which allows an stunning view and a mild climate even in the summer . For golf lovers there is a big court next door .
We were welcomed by Mercedes's brother at check in . While we wre filling the forms we were offered refreshmantsd at the living room hot coffe and orange juice .
We were offered the option to have dinner at the villa . This was a good choice , The dinner was prepared by Mercedes and her assistanat ans is was remarkable .
For guests who plan to drink a lot of wine during the dinner this option is the best as it prevents you from driving back after drinking .
Breakfast was served on a terrace overlooking the views of the sea shore. It was prepared to our requests.
The villa is very specious . It has 3 smaller rooms and one large suite Mandara ( where we have stayed ) with a large balcony. A large cupboard room for lots of dresses and a large bathroom with separate toilets.
The room decoration is very nice and the double bed is larger than a regular king size bed.
The villa has a swimming pool as well.
If you are looking for a different experience and not another glitzy hotel with a lot of guests ,I'd strongly recomand this place .

Room Tip: Book the Mandara suite, it worth every cent .

As someone who spends a good part of the year staying in chain hotels around the world on business, this was an altogether different experience. This is more of a private residence than a hotel and all the better for that. So peaceful and relaxing - and very welcoming by Mercedes and her staff. Unfortunately, we spent only one night at The Marbella Heights as part of a 5 day tour around Andalucia and regret not having arranged our trip differently so that we could have spent more time there. We had a beautifully furnished room with a terrace and fabulous views. Nice touches included a drink on arrival and an excellent a la carte breakfast. We are already planning our return

We were warmly welcomed immediately by the lovely owner, Mercedes. Through out our stay she was always available and made us feel like we were the only guests she has ever had. Our room was very comfortable and had every amenity you would find in a large luxury hotel. We had a car which made it very easy to get around and Mercedes was very helpful with directions, restaurants and sightseeing. If we were ever to be lucky enough to return to Marbella it would be the only place we would stay. It was lovely in every way!!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Marbella Heights Boutique Hotel for a long weekend for his birthday at the end of November. We had such a lovely stay. We received an extremely warm welcome and the wonderful hospitality continued for our whole trip. The hotel itself is beautiful and the views are stunning. Although it was the end of November and there was a chill in the air we were still able to breakfast in glorious sun on the terrace in the morning - it was a perfect mid winter dose of vitamin D. The spa pool is also a sun trap - we were able to use it despite the time of year. Lying there in the sun, having left a dark and soggy London behind, was blissful - thank you very much to Mercedes for a fantastic stay.

We had a great stay despite it bucketing down with rain each day so we were unable to use the pool and outdoor terrace area. Highly recommend the location (you need a car) just a few minutes out of Marbella as it's quiet and away from the noise of the town. Note:Spanish towns are very noisy!!

The staff are very friendly and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay and your time in the area, the epitome of excellent service.

Room Tip: We needed a twin bed (two bed) room, there is only one apparently. It's very comfortable althoug...
