Italian would not be my choice of restaurant, because, for me Italian food outside Italy, is generally pizza, spaghetti, tomato puree and rubber pasta. However, in the case of Casa Tua I've changed my mind. We tried this newly-opened restaurant by chance and it was a truly pleasant surprise - so pleasant that we went there three times during our stay.
Preparation & presentation were excellent: fresh pasta prepared by the Italian owner-chef and presented under the supervision of his wife. That is some personal touch. Mussels with clams & chorizo, duck, and belly pork were my choices from a compact, but diverse menu. The wine list is Italian and the prices reasonable. Our choice was the red Dolcetto D'Alba at €18. A meal for two is between €80 - €100, but that includes starters, a dessert, mineral water and a bottle of wine.
The restaurant is located conveniently off to the right of Orange Square, up the hill about 75metres. It has to be one of the best restaurants in town.
