The Marbella Club Hotel is an institution in Marbella. It is THE classic hotel for the rich and beautiful. Went for dinner there last night. First a very good Mojito in the open air bar.
Then moving to the table, also al fresco. First they could not find our reservation, but we still got a nice table next to the pond. The restaurant filled up quickly, also some larger groups. Foie Gras as a starter. Did not have much taste. My wife had the cheese souflee, also not a great success.
We all had the veal cutlet, with potatoe, veggies and grilled tomatoe. Quite good - better is at 38 Euros.... In general the food is very expensive, as you probably have to expect in this hotel.
Some nice wines to go with it. Dessert, resp. dessert wines. Excellent and attentive service, but again you would expect this at that price level. Nice atmosphere, especially when the light all the candles later in the evening. There are better restaurants at much more affordable prices in and around Marbella.
