Trocadera is well-known for its cuisine and attracting celebrities as well as politicians. Its a large restaurant decorated in a rustic, colonial-inspired style with lots of natural elements, ideal for a romantic dinner, at least in July (not crowded). It has sunbeds on the beach and also a large outside dining and cocktail drinking lounge area. The food is delicious with fresh ingredients combined in a creative way and very friendly service. The bar area inside is quite large and offers very exquisite liquors (even Guatemalan rum Zacapa Centenario). Definitely worth a visit, but not if you are on a tight budget. Its not actually in Marbella bur rather on the outskirts, exit "Torre Real" on the 340 highway, Km 186. A large, beach-side parking area is available, but probably gets crowded during high season (August).
