“A beautiful week on the Costa del Sol”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

We spent a week at this lovely facility and couldn't have been happier. The accommodations were clean and bright, the people couldn't have been friendlier, and the service was outstanding. We had been planning on exchanging our unit for a week here for several years, and it was definitely worth the wait. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, and you get a break if you purchase five days worth. You are 10 minutes from Marbella, and another 5 from Puerto Banus. The choices of restaurants in the area were wonderful, and ranged from traditional tapas to outstanding seafood. The fish was fresh and outstanding. We took a day trip to Ronda, up a very winding road, and was lovely. Definitely worth doing.

what you'd expect from a marriott resort - well kept, good facilities, safe and overall very good

great for families with children - good kids club, activities and swimming pools

get a west facing balcony and have sun till 8pm in the summer

rooms are spanish style so no exactly cutting edge but very spacious and functional.

well rated

We've been coming regularly over the past 10 years from when the kids were young and have had all sorts of apartments on both sides of the resort and both 2/3 bedroom ones.
The apartments are extremely spacious and set out to a very high standrad -the master bedroom has a jacuzzi bath and the other bedrooms have great walk in showers.
The resort has everything you need a small supermarket ( expensive but great little bakery and all you need day 1), the restaurants are ok but pricey the nicest elememt is the chill bar by the main pool.
There are seats round all the pools 2 indoor , the main pool , one in the middle and seats on the beach(which are chargeable).
There are a few shops just half a mile down at Elviria, including some ok places to eat and a super sol but just another 1/2 mile on the coastal road are Lidl -great for basics and right next door is mercadona more like waitrose.
10 mins away is la canada a nice shopping mall, then you have the choice of old Marbella with Orange Sq and small winding cobbled streets and a large beach promenade and the Puerto Banus and the yachts and shops and restaurants and just people watching - the choice is yours just enjoy.
If you feel like being energetic, you can visit Malaga, full of history, Picasso , moorish sights, Granada, Cordoba and Seville within 2 -2.5 hrs on very good roads and all great cities to visit .
Will keep on coming

Spent 4 days in this resort and had a wonderful time . The 2 bedroomed apartment was more than large enough for 5 adults on a girls break to celebrate a friends birthday . They gave everything you could want in a very well planned apartment . Pool beautiful especially quiet pool no noisy children . Breakfast buffet excellent and grounds really well maintained . Wish I was back there .

Had another fab holiday with Marriot. This resort is wonderfully located on the beach with lots of things for the whole family to do. There are four pools and this includes a quiet one and adults only area so everybody is catered for. The apartments are really luxurious and the staff extremely helpful, we will definately be going back.

The apartments are fully equipped and well maintained. Anything that doesn't work is very promptly attended to. Staff are well informed and extremely helpful. The convenience store is well provisioned, reasonably priced and has an onsite bakery with freshly baked bread every morning. Pools for kids and adults including a heated indoor pool open until 11 pm. Free underground parking. Well equipped gym open all hours. Overall, hard to find anything that wasn't top-notch about the resort.

If we had to quibble, like many other resorts, it was pretty fully built up - probably a couple hundred apartments at least. However, there was plenty of grass, etc., so it didn't feel too bad. Also, the only restaurant we tried (El Med) was a bit pricey; the food was fine, but nothing special.

Definitely rate this resort very high, all things considered.

This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed on the Costa del Sol. The resort is so appealing to the eye, the gardens are immaculate, the staff are obviously well trained in customer service, and are extremely friendly and polite. The apartments are so well equipped, and nothing is too much trouble. If you need anything they sort it. We couldn't get the tumble drier to work ( yes there is a utility room with a washer drier!) I called the house keeping and they came 30 mins later at 8pm in the evening to sort it out!! hows that for service.

There are 4 pools to choose from and the sea on your doorstep, good fish restaurants in walking distance, and you really dont need to leave the resort if you dont want to. there are a choice of eateries onsite, and a take away service - all a bit pricey but convenient. There are plenty of activities arranged for all age groups if thats what you like to do - Me? I just like to relax with a book round the pool!!

If you do the Marbella Town is about 15 mins drive away and you do need a car get there.
There is a really interesting market in Marbella, good for stocking up with your supplies, and a lot cheaper that using the on site shop.

All in all a place to return to again and again, either with your family ( we took the whole family inc the grandchildren) but are returning again on our own next year. Cant rate it high enough

Room Tip: I think all the apartments are of the same standard, the only choice you may want is to have sun on...
