I have been here a few times and I would classify it as no frills fish on the grill. It is not exquisite but it has been in Marbella for years and is still quite good. I read other reviews and I suppose expectations were high . Listen to me and order the following : mixed salad Altamirano to start a bit boring but gets the juices flowing, Almejas a la marinera( clams in garlic and white wine) dip bread in sauce mmmmmmm, gambas al pil pil (spicy peeled shrimp in bubbly garlic and oil dipping bread in spicy oil is relish), chipirones fritos ( baby squid fried in batter a bit greasy, but yummy) rosada a la plancha(south American white fillet grilled with garlic) if you don't like too much garlic say :' no mucho ajo' For white wine a bubbly dry Blanc Pescador desert crema Catalan or arroz con leche ( milk rice)
If you want to break the budget order carabineros a la plancha ( large grilled red prawns) lovely and one per person is enough
I have taken friends and ordered for them ( I live in Spain ) and this menu is a hit every time - enjoy (Wednesdays closed)
