On arrival this course looks fantastic. However, the curse of golf in Spain (as it is elsewhere) is slow play. This is exacerbated by the insistence that buggies stick to the buggy path - which is the case here. 4 players wandering back and forward to select the right club - and getting it wrong so they have to meander back and forth again can easily add an hour to the round. It really doesn't matter how good a golf course is if the whole experience is ruined by frustration over slow play. We liked the place and the staff but can only give it an average mark I'm afraid
This is in stark contrast to La Quinta which is 15 minutes along the A7, where buggies ARE allowed on fairways. Much more enjoyable - and quicker.
All in all, a good course spoiled by buggy rules.
