Situated 2 minutes from the centre of Marbella, you find yourself in a different world! Restaurant La Tienda in the beautiful setting of La Virginia is a true gem of a place. The new owners have transformed the menu using the best quality ingredients, the house wines are very good and the staff most welcoming.

A really fantastic little place. The food is excellent and really well priced, service is very friendly and we were served by the owner who made us feel truly welcome. A must for anyone visiting Marbella who want to get away from all the hustle and bustle.

Intersting; out of 15 reviews only 1 said 'terrible', whilst 13 said 'very good' to 'excellent'. Could that one person possibly have had an axe to grind? We have been back with guests a number of times and found the food, the service, the ambiance, in short, the quality 'excellent value for money'!!!!

We were told about this place by a local spaniard. He said its off the beaten track but a must! Best kept secret. Very very nice. Romantic and very unusual. We didn't have a reservation and they were very busy but when I explained to the owner we had driven for ages to find it he was super nice and accommodating! Good value. Superb location!! Lots of locals. Off the beaten track so u need a car but truly lovely!
