“The best..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

Visited this quaint very old fashioned Spanish bodeguita several times last week. The 'bar' area has twenty or so barrels of wine/sherry and all are served straight from the barrel into your small glass and served to you on the tables that double as a bar. Tapas can be had and is always fresh and appertizing. It is so easy to have two or three different drinks but be careful, it does tend to get to you pretty quickly.. We tended to do it in two shifts..!! It's is a typical Spanish bodega and as such the vast majority of the clientele are locals. I spoke with several in my very broken Spanish and all were more than happy to give you tips on the best selection. Prices are very good too with. Glass of sherry starting at about 80p... So 'The more you drink the more you save' as they say..!! Enjoy

“An Experience not to be missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

This is not to be missed. It is bit on the spit and sawdust side, but you can get some excellent barrelled Sherries for a few Euros. The atmosphere is lively, with a mixture of locals and tourists. A small selection of Tapas is available. Some of the staff do not speak English, but all the barrels have the name of the sherry on them, so you just point. You probably, if like me won’t have clue what you have ordered, but that’s part of the fun.

“Keeping it real”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012 via mobile

A great find and I discovered a love for fino the guys in there whitish shirts looked fed up with life but I am not sure it wasn't just part of the overall experience and it wasn't too difficult to get them to crack a smile and once they realised you were interested and enjoying the place they warmed a little. Work your way through all on offer but it may take a few visits as its pretty strong stuff, old auntie would have loved this tipple. Worth seeking out.

“Sip some sherry!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

Very quaint. Walk up to the bar - limited seating at a few tables - try a few sherries, breath in the atmosphere, and enjoy yourself. Certainly worth a stop for some 'fortification'. Had a great time, although we were in and out in less than 30 minutes.

“If you like sherry this is the place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012 via mobile

Superb sherry served from the barrels at a superb price.
Prior to my visit not a sherry fan but will be trying more when I get home. Good variety of sherries ranging from dry to sweet.
The price was superb from 1-2 euros a drink
A very pleasant way to spend an hour or two but can not remember much after the visit.
