Stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. Good central location near railway & bus stations. Easy to get to from Airport on the train (€1.70). Comfortable room and excellent buffet breakfast. Easy walk into the old town area and the port.

This hotel is very modern, really good. The best thing is that it is at the train station. Very handy for travellers.

Bus stops are in front of the train station and even the bus station is very close. We went to Gibraltar on one of those buses.

Hotel room was not too big but comfortable. Nice view. Very clean. Polite staff.

Stylish rooms, accomodating staff, lovely breakfast. Start of our trip around Andalucia and so glad we chose Barcelo Malaga. Would choose it again without any hesitation! Check in was fast and efficient and they had no problem fitting in another single bed into an already squeezed room (small room sizes would be my only gripe with the hotel)... but that didn't spoil anything. It's very close to all the attractions and places to see. Loved Barcelo Malaga - chic, stylish and very reasonable!

Stayed in this hotel for the weekend. Location is great, easy to get to from the airport and is located in a shopping mall with the train station, to get to loads of places, which nearly put us off but you can't even see the hotel from the shops and inside you can't hear any shoppers, trains etc. it's very quiet. Hotel is very clean, lovely rooms. Staff very polite. Food at breakfast is very nice, fresh omelette if you want one, lovely coffee, Cava if you want it. In the hotel alongside the lift and stairs from the first floor down to reception, there is a shoot to come down, which is great fun, especially after a few drinks !

The tourist desk in train station is useless!!!!! They refused to suggest a hotel closeby...but fortunately we found the Barcello when we walked out the door to the left if you are looking towards the tlrain tracks....keep this in mind as the other directions did not have hotels!!!!

We were happpy with the rate,,,around $100 US plus $20 US for full buffet breakfasts,,,actually an excellent spread with all sorts of items...and omeletsprepared to order. the decor is clever,,,on the edge of modern...and very pleasant. The big advantage is the friendly polite reception...the rooms aremore than adequate in an assembly style.....the stainless steel slide from the breakfast floor to main lobby is a winner!!!!! Ovewrall good design and a nice pleasant hotel for thenight...

Room Tip: might be good to have reservation if arriving via train...not for a vacation,,,probably has easy acc...

This big hotel is located on the main railway station of Malaga which is very handy if you need to go to the airport the next day (only 7 minutes). The hotel was once a modern funky hotel but there are already signs of tirement in the hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel needs improvement and the hotel is quite far away from the city center (20 minutes by walk). Due to the modern interior the hotel lacks a cosy atmosphere. The price quality level really needs attention.

We arrived in Malaga by train. One advantage to this hotel is it's right next to the train station which is connected to a mall with lots of shops, places to eat and car rental companies. The disadvantage is it's about a 20 minute walk to the center of town and a 30 minute walk to the harbor. The hotel is wonderful though with great service and modern, clean rooms. Alvaro Gomez, behind the front desk, was a great help. He told us all about the sights and places to eat. Breakfast was included and is served in their restaurant. It had a large selection of items and we were always satisfied. This hotel is perfect if you're traveling for business in Malaga. I'm not so sure if it's the best place to stay if you really want a tourists flavor of the town and sights.
