“Great location in Malaga”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Just returned from 5 nights here.
Room 511, the Cathedral and the sea can be seen by peering out. Room nice and clean, all linen changed daily. TV has BBC world news and CNN if you need a news fix.
Beds are rather hard (but we always feel this of most hotel beds.)
Service, two men and one slightly older woman were extremely pleasant and helpful. They got us a rubber bathmat (!) and phoned Kelipe for us to book a Flamenco show. One younger woman, fortunately seen only once, could hardly be bothered to look at us.
Breakfast was very good with a good selection and nice fruit and available from 6 to 11am. They will cook you things but the pre-cooked stuff was fine.
Location is excellent, a couple of minutes from the cathedral, for example. Also the airport bus, (linea A, 3 euros each from just outside terminal 3) drops you right at the bottom of the hotel street, two minutes walk away.
Free wifi is always nice and, for those that like pools, there is one on 8th floor (there wasn't much use in January, mind you!)
Considering how few continental hotels provide kettles, it was nice to get one, especially for us hand luggage only travellers.
Some noise from other guests on the corridors but none from the busy street.

Me and my hubby just came back after staying here for five nights,it is a lovely hotel, staff are nice,we couldnt find a fault, the hotel is 2 minutes from the cathedral and it is lit up at nighttime so you can sit at a bar looking at it,malaga is a fantastic city and would recommend going round on the open top bus, also down by the port there is a lovely walkway with shops and restaurants,we found out that had only been built a year ago

Room Tip: we stayed in room 403.very quiet, but may hear noise in summer because overlooks a large patio and gu...

Just returned from 5 nights at this hotel, staying in a deluxe room, which was very nice and spacious. Location couldn't be better, as it is practically next door to the cathedral, and everything you might want to see is 15 mins walk away, at the most. Our room had a balcony, and a view down the street to the many restaurants, of which there are dozens within a 5 minute walk. Initially, the bed was a little hard and disturbed my sleep, but a trip to reception soon produced a comfy mattress topper which sorted out the problem. The breakfast is excellent, with the best choice of hot and cold food I have ever had in a European hotel, juices, lots of fresh, sliced fruit, a cold buffet with everything you could possibly want, including smoked salmon, cakes and pastries, toast of all kinds, and bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes and scrambled egg. You can also ask for eggs anyway you like, and omelettes - brilliant! Staff are very helpful, even to the point of directing us to the hotel opposite where there was a bar on the roof terrace. This is a fab hotel, and we will definitely go back.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the street, rather than the inner courtyard, if you don't mind a litt...

Enjoyed each of my three days here very much and would certainly return. Perfect proximity to beaches, running, eating, drinking, shopping, walking. Bathtubs are nice with plenty of hot water.

Everything about this hotel was great. It was located near the city center and close to all the places that one would like to visit while in Malaga. The room was clean and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had in hotels in Europe. We were there late December 2012 and unfortunately could not use the pool and the bar that they have at the rooftop. The view from the multi-tier rooftop was amazing. I do recommend this hotel and will come back again.

Second time I have stayed at this hotel and will be back again in the near future. Its conveniently situated in the best part of Malaga but still quiet. The breakfasts are excellant and the staff are most helpfull. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bar is excellant with reasonable prices.
