“Best Museum I've Even Been To”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

This is without a doubt the most interesting and well presented museum I have ever been to and I have been to many. It isn't advertised much and we literally stumbled upon it. It is a mere 2 euro entrance fee and everything is so well restored. I learned things I never knew about Spain and their way of life and marveled at the number of artifacts on display. Each room shows depicts another aspect of life in Spain from farming to blacksmithing to religion to music and dance to olive oil, wine and raisin production and features each room of the home, I saw my first birthing chair! This is a must-see attraction in Malaga - you will be amazed!

“Worth a visit.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

Fascinating little museum covering a wide range of aspects of Spanish life. The building that it is housed in, in itself is worth a visit.

“Small museum is better than I expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2012

Near the river west of the town center at the edge of the pedestrian zone, this little known museum has a nice collection of local crafts and costumes. It is in a renovated historic inn with a nice courtyard. Worth a detour for a pleasant hour of nostalgia of Spain 100 years ago.

“A gem of a museum in Malaga”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2012

Immaculately maintained historical artefacts and costumes in a delightful old building. It's a bit tucked away but actually only five minutes walk from the old city. If you like seeing how people lived in the past this is a real find!

“Worth the visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2012

We almost missed this museum - we walked past it several times without noticing it. For only 2 Euros this old Inn housed a display of artefacts and tableau from various parts of Andalusia. Very interesting
