There is a reason that Coin is not mentioned in any of the travel books, despite its location - there is nothing there! Other than that, this hotel was pretty good value. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a town about 10 minutes away from Coin (Alhaurin something or other) that seemed to have more happening though we only went through it on our way out so am unsure of the nightlife.

WE booked in here for a long weekend, after flying in from Malaga it took us three hours to find it as no ne knows where it is. Coin which is the nearby town is not on the tourist map for a reason.

But more to the point this place is horrendous, we booked and unfortunatley prepaid for a double room for 3 nights. We were given an apartment which had 2 rooms with twin beds which looked like camp beds and felt even more uncomfortable with lumpy mattresses and dusty sheets - i felt like I was getting bitten all night and on top of that because it is in the middle of a forest there are cricket noises all night and no double glazing making a restful nights sleep impossible, then just when you do get to sleep the curtaining is so in adequate the sun streamed in. We had to leave after our first night even though we had paid for three and find alternative accomodation. I just felt I had to write this as there would be other unfortunate people, do as I did and book something in good faith on the internet thinking you would get 3 star accomodation when it could bearly be classed as inhabitable
