Beautiful and under appreciated, well worth an hour of your time. One of the best places to visit in Malaga.

“A Magnificent building”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

The building has been wonderfully preserved without the historical aspect of it spoiled. There is very good information relating to all the side chapels etc

“Worth a visit”

Small charge to go in unless you are attending mass - check times before visiting. Impressive building and many interesting chapels.

“Nice place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

Although the cathedrals in Sevilla and Cordoba are much more breath taking, this one is also worth the visit.

“Unmissable.........”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

Don't just use Malaga airport as a gateway to the Costas___check out Malaga city and some
culture and history.
The Cathedral is magnificent and well worth the 5euros entry charge as is the Alcazabilla which is a 12th century palace fortress situated just behind the Cathedral and beside the Roman theatre.
Malaga has some great cafes for having a relaxing drink in between attractions. There are also numerous museums to visit including the Picasso,Bullring,Transport and Malaga Football Club.
Malaga is MAGNIFICENT!!!
