“Lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

What I really like about this Cathedral is the un finished pinnacle and the fact the locals call it the one armed man. The square around is very lovely but the tourist shops and restaurants are more expensive, walk a block over and its much cheaper.

“Superb”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012 via mobile

A huge cathedral dwarfing its English cousins. The roof and stonework stupendous. Many of the chapels restrained, almost Calvinistic! Others as you would expect in Spain, over gilded. Limited info inside, not offered an audio guide at any point. The internal museum underwhelming, some old statues, old plate, and old vestments. The cathedral itself made up. I'm still thinking about the magnificent carving in the choir and that roof!

“Closed on Sundays”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

Only got to see the impressive building from outside as Sundays were for those taking part in the services. When the hour rings watch the bell towers. You can see the bell turning. Lovely hibiscus bushes.

“Worth of 5 euros entry fee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

A place to see. Again, we didn't get audio-guides although a couple returned just before us two of them. There isn't too much information of the chapels inside the church so a guide would be really useful.

“Beautiful cathedral”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

Went here for the first time recently and it was wonderful. Beautiful inside with very high stained glass windows, striking icons and a very peaceful feeling. Right in the middle of the old town and easy to get to.
