“Use the entrance down the tunnel at the back of the town hall..”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

We used the entrance by the Roman theatre- but if you are going to climb through the gardens to Gilbafaro you might want to go up in the lift and walk down again esp if it is very hot, Saw a bride and groom having some photos taken-very pretty gardens, great views across the harbour and a historic monument to boot.

“Views from an ancient ruins”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

This is a good spot if you want to see the city from above ground. I will not recommend if you have great fear of heights but you will be missing out.

I would recommend this as a stop when you are in Magala. We also visited Alhambra, alcazar and I thought all were great.

“Amazing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

This is a must see in Malaga.

It is an old castle dating back to the era of the Islamic rule of Malaca and then being taken over by the Christians.

You get a feel while touring this castle which goes up a hill on how people lived in the 14th century and earlier. A lot of work was done to preserve this castle and it took us about 3 hours to conclude the tour.

It is highly recommended.
