“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Stayed in a 10 bed dorm, the beds were super comfy and there was loads of space for everyone. The secure drawers under the bed are big enough for a 'hand-luggage' sized suitcase, and there was even a wardrobe if you fancied hanging up your clothes. A full-size fridge in the room also made it easy to keep an eye on your food. I need had to wait for the bathroom, and didn't notice a lot of noise (but then prehaps I was the noisy one).
The free walking tour that leaves every morning was absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend it. I also enjoyed the Tapas tour, and the Friday night pub crawl.
The hostel is a place to party, the reception bar sells tequila shots for only 1euro. They will let you bring your own alcohol in to drink in the outdoor courtyard, but they do normally try to drag you out to the local bars around midnight to keep the noise down.
There is another bar on the rooftop but this isn't actually part of the hostel (despite having the same name) and was very expensive. It also meant there were random people (not staying at the hostel) walking through the hostel all the time, this made me slightly uneasy even though all the rooms seemed very secure.
The only bad point is that it was hard to find, it is in a very good central location but down a dodgy looking alleyway which if I hadnt asked someone for directions I would not have walked down when I was arriving at midnight.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are through the kitchen and also have street noise.

All the staff were really welcoming, helpful and happy to be doing what they do. The tours were especially cool. I think a lot of people might struggle to find Oasis but locals will assist (signs would assist even more). It's a party hostel and the rooms get an earful for most of the night, but you could always just join in.

New and generally clean place. Good wifi in bedrooms. Stayed in 10 bed dorm on 3rd floor which had space and an ensuite bathroom. Unfortunate when everybody wants to use it at the same time. Very noisy every night due to rooftop bar. Friendly staff.
Don´t hope for restful night as your room mate WILL wake you up when they come in late or leave early.
NOTE: don´t try to book bus tickets on the hostel computers. I paid 28EUR for a ticket I couldn´t claim at bus station and had to buy another one.

Me and 2 friends stayed at Oasis last week for 4 nights. The hostel is clean and comfortable. The rooms have good showers and a sweet balcony. The rooms do not have wifi, which would be a great improvement.

We went out every night, there's always people down to drink and the staff are super helpful. There's communal dinners and pub crawls, as we'll as beach balls to take out for the day.

Bottom line: if you're 18-26 and want to party and meet cool people, Oasis is perfect. If you're old or really care about uninterrupted sleep, stay somewhere else.

Excellent hostel! Especially if you want to party. There is something going on all the time and the place itself is very stylish and clean. The only drawback is that there is only 1 bathroom for a 10 bed room. Due to the actuivities it's probably not the right place for you if you want to go to sleep at 10p. Besides from that, there is an amazing rooftop bar with cheap prices!

To do:

- Bar crawl
- Free walking tour

When I arrived, (24h) there was really loud music until 2am (bring earplugs!!) and it’s impossible to close the window with this heat.
Staff was friendly and easygoing.
Once unpacked and put myself in a bed that was given to me from the reception (strangely bed was made and a pyjama on it). At 4AM 4 girls abruptly pulled my sheet away to wake me up to tell me I was sleeping at their bed!! Goodbye good night sleep!
Because they made the bed and put hers pyjama on top of it, they claimed it. In the morning I checked again at the reception but no mistake was made. There is nothing they can do about it, they girls were just really impolite.
Bathroom was big enough and easy to clean but if you stay with other people, it will be dirty anyway.
Breakfast was mediocre but a nice way to start knowing people..
A kitchen was at your service if you wanted to cook.
It is a cheap hostel for young people that want to party in the middle of the center. It is a choice that you make when you book this hostel.
