Went firstly on a Sunday evening, open but no Paella, but still good Tapas.

“Not until one fifteen!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

That's when they start serving the fantastic paella ,full of fish and chicken, unbelievable value €9 for two plates of Paella a coffe and a San Miguel ,well worth a visit to this small cafe for lunch .But not before 13-15 ,not minute less.
Excellent.

“Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

I went here a couple of times on my recent short stay in Malaga. It does not look very special from the outside, but don't let that put you off. I had tapas rather than Menu del Dia, and the food was very tasty and very good value. Went in there one evening for a snack and a drink; great atmosphere watching a Spanish football match on the television!

“Excellent value and quality food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

We got the Menu del Dia for 7 euros each. Includes a drink, bread, 2 courses, and a dessert. Paella was outstanding and full of meat and seafood, definitely something to order when you are there. We also got the grilled cuttlefish and albondigas (meatballs in tomato sauce) which were quite good as well. Located very close to Malagueta beach so it's definitely a place to go for a good meal after the beach!

“Do not be put off by the outside.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

From the outside this looks like a shady gaming hall with fruit machines etc. But there is a bar area which serves an excellent cheap Menu del Dia, tapas and raciones. Excellent paella. If you are fed up of the tourist rip-offs near Calle Larios just walk a little further to find this little gem. Ideally placed for viewing the Semana Santa processions too!
