We viewed this garden in mid October and most of the blooms had gone. It was very lovely though and the restaurant on-site was fabulous - everything is made from scratch and deliciously fresh - great prices too.
Nice gardens with great selection of trees and shrubs. Interesting history and a nice way to spend a couple of hours strolling around.
Well worth a vist - it's only 1 euro 20 on the bus (number 2) and about 20 minutes ride followed by an easy 10 minute walk (at the weekends the bus goes all the way there). Very large garden will take about 2 hours to see all. Nice cafe. Gardens are right by the motorway up in the hills above Malaga but don't let that put you off. definitely worth going to.
A bit out of town but reached easily with the number 61 bus at weekends. It has a nice, very well priced cafe right at the very entrance to the Gardens.
This is a lovely place to visit to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can get a bus no. 61 from the centre, but I think it only operates on a Saturday. Ask at the tourist information for a timetable. Lovely gardens where you can enjoy well signposted walks, and lovely views of the city from the higher points. There is a cafe and toilets on the sight.
