“Highly adviceable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2012

Maitre is absolutely great. Warm, welcoming and knowing the stuff. Food is fab, really local and not expensive at all. Great wine cellar. Inside is too noisy is the only slight problem of this place.

“I will return here and bring more friends”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2011

The sea food Paella cost €25 for two and is the best I have had in four years living in this part of the world. The paella here had plenty of sea food and was excellent. The service was very good and wine reasonably priced.
We arrived at the restaurant at 1:30 pm and had a choice of table. One hour later the restaurant was packed with no free tables inside or out. The clients were nearly all Spanish.

“wonderful light lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2011

on a day trip to malaga from torremolinos, after having walked around for about 1hr,i felt peckish.this modern, appealing place caught my eye.i initially went in for a beer as it was hot.perusing the menu,i decided to have the seafood soup<it was cheaper than the one in torremolinos by3euro>.i was given a huge bowlful, heaped with mariscos, bread and i ordered a manzanilla.it was delicious.i could barely finish it.compared to other version<which was an expensive disgrace>it was wonderful.the staff were chatty and friendly,it seemed to be well patronised by locals and i could not have asked for a better light lunch.the toilets were immaculate, another plus.overall it seemed expensive but the tapas were reasonably priced

“Stay away from the food!!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2011

Stay away from food, it's not good! We ordered grilled fish and it was not well done. It was bloody and not veryappetizing! We noted this to the waiter which took the food back to the kitchen. We thought that the chef would grill the new fish, but no.... The cook had put the fish in themicrowave and warmed it up!!! The waiter served it to us and said that he had grilled fish again....LOL!!

The vegetables that were served with the fish was cannedvegetables! :-(

When we left the restaurant, we felt cheated of a good meal!!

My advice is to only drink wine nor eat the food at another restaurant.

“Steak ordered, was overpriced and underdone.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2011

Recommended the above by hotel Menu was outside same except a very pushy young lady was trying to entice you in, with not much success. Think the prices were too high. Decided to treat myself to an Entrecote. Ordered same to be medium cooked. Steak arrived practically raw, with virtually no vegetables and a few chips. Sent same back and explained I wanted it medium not rare. Back it came a few minutes later in exactly the same state as I got it in initially Still very bloody, but a few more chips thrown on plate. Back it went again and out it came again with a few more chips but still raw. Waiter offered to take it back a 3rd time could not be bothered. Left most of it and was still charged full price for same when bill arrived. Not the done thjing in my book, if a steak goes back twice and comes back in virtually uneaten. You should not charge customer for same. All and all a very bad experience. Would not recommend ever.
