“Surprisingly interesting!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Visited based purely on the previous reviews and was also pleasantly surprised.

Wonderful to be in the guide's personal home and hear the stories of how/why items came to be in their possession. The trio who have put this all together come from some varied backgrounds!

Our guide, the Englishman, was attentive, amusing and was able to easily adapt to the small group of 6. For example, one lady was a student doctor (and he was a former Dr) and could point out 'medically' significant items in certain artworks. Similarly, we were visiting from Belgium and often this was referenced where relevant.

The tour is not too long and not 'just' glass and crystal, but plenty of paintings, old books and antique furniture. The house itself has been lovingly restored.

Would recommend for 'something' different, although perhaps not for 'technology amused' teenagers.

“Incredible place, wonderful tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

The owner does the tours in English and he is wonderful. There is a ton of history, amazing items to see, and it is one of the best museum experiences in Malaga.

“Totally unexpected!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

What else can I say to add to the already glowing reviews given by many? It is such a privilege to be invited into someone's home which is also a museum to see the collection and inheritance of the owners. A truly enjoyable experience and Professor Ian Phillips has been collecting glass and crystals for many decades and his knowledge and experience really makes the visit even more enjoyable! A must visit if you happen to be in Malaga.

“A Different Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

This is a most unusual attraction. It is a private house with a private collection of stained glass and glass exhibits. It was a pleasure to be shown the house and collection by one of the owners. Mr Ian Phillips speaks very passionately about the house and collections whilst at the same time imparting a great deal of history and knowledge about everything in the house. if you like beautiful things you will enjoy this Museum.

“Unusual tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

The owner took us round his collection of glass objects and windows. The house is worth seeing on its own for its style, furniture and paintings. The highlight for me was a window from the Trinity Church in Saltcoats showing Christ with children.
