Went here on the advice of a local friend who said it was the best place to eat in Malaga. He warned us it's quite small and we may not get a table...but somehow, on a friday around 2pm we got a table. We were given one with a reserved sign, perhaps they had been let down by another customer?
The service was very friendly and knowledgeable, the wine delicious and we shared around 8 tapas between the 2 of us. The other customers were obviously big food fans and were palpably excited and in awe of all of the food that was coming out the kitchen, taking photos of all the plates (so it wasn't just us taking pics!). The food was extraordinary and on returning to England were inspired to try our own versions of what we had eaten, obviously nowhere near as good but how nice to be inspired like that.
I wanted to eat there the same night but we have a 'rule' that we shouldn't eat in the same place twice. We almost broke that rule, but resisted. I think it's probably advisable to book a table, particularly for the evening meals and we were just lucky to get a lunchtime table for tapas when we did. I cannot wait to return to this place, thanks for such a memorable experience.
