There are inside and outside tables but we chose to eat around the rectangular hot plate that is used by the Teppanyaki chefs. There are an extensive number of fixed table de hote meals ranging in price from €25 – 75 that are mainly prepared on the hot plate including beef, chicken, prawn in addition to the egg fried rice. Salads are included and freshly cooked broccoli. For the very hungry, there is an a la carte option – sushi being an excellent starter. The sweet we chose was crepe suzette – freshly made in front of you.
The good thing about the meal is watching the chefs in action. Razor sharp knives are juggled plus the various condiments and sauces that are used in the process.
The quality of the food was excellent and if table de hote options are chosen, this is not an expensive meal when compared to some restaurants. It is good for parties because everyone can chat, watch the entertainment and relax. The very nice surprise was the offer of a free drink of your choice when the bill was prepared. Diners chose liqueurs, brandies, spirits and beer – all free.
A return visit is on the cards.
