“Great food & Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

The Vino Mio is one of my favourites places in Malaga. Besides the delicious food & nice friendly service, its in a great location just right next to the Teatro Cervantes, on a nice plaza where one can watch the world go by. Recently they also started to offer Sunday Brunch which I think its a great idea and I love going there for a healthy Breakfast.Keep up the good work!

“Excellent food in a modern restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

Got a table indoors to watch and participate in the flamenco (4euro each). The place was full by 9pm Sat, so we were lucky to get a table without booking.
Food is modern European fusion and everything we had on the menu between 3 of us was good. Limited dessert menu, but nice nonetheless.
For a proper restaurant (rather than tapas), you'd struggle to find better.

“Very good modern food at reasonable prices - and flamenco show during diner (4 euro/person)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012 via mobile

We had a nice evening and good wine and dessert, ending with a bill at 133 euro including 16 euro for the nice flamenco show.

The cuisine is modern and not really Spanish, but well cooked, with good side dishes, which were small though.

The dessert were also good and well priced (5 euro).

All in all very good but not perfect, and indeed not Spanish dinner, except the ex
ceptional wine at 16 euro.

Also very nice outdoor service at a plaza in front of a big theater.

“Heavily ocerrated in Tripadvisor”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012 via mobile

Disappointing. Quite good starter (salad). Main coarses: steak ordered medium, served well done. The olive and tomato butter was accompanied with the plastic wrapping foil on the plate. The other main coarse: veal. 3 pieces much overcooked and dry. The hole dish (veg+pot) was heavily salted (and normally I like my food salted, bit this... )
Two of the 6 open wines were not available, only the expensiver ones. The waitress had to ask inside before knowing. All staff was more interested in the Spanish speaking guest, than us. After our complaints, we were offered a free dessert without any discussion, bit also without any form of an apology. Please think twice before you are having diner here. The food is not the best, the prices are to high, the staff not interested and open wines we tasted aren't the best either.

“Delicious Food & Fantastic Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

We had the pleasure of visiting Vino Mio in September 2012. The decor is magnificent, very tasty & creative selection of food, set in the centre of Malaga just next to Teatro Cervantes. A wonderful place if you want to eat or just chill out with a cocktail. I will definitely be going there again!
