We booked this hotel through Travel Zoo and were not disappointed. I usually prefer smaller, homely and boutique hotels however I was happy with my stay here.
The staff are really friendly and accommodating, we had a few questions and requests they dealt with promptly and efficiently. There is a small bar in the lobby area and Kiwy who works there is an entertaining lady, she knows her wines so do ask for advice, also, ask for the Seville chips (crisps) to go with the red wine! A glass is 7 Euro so not too bad and it was top quality wine although the hotel is not the cheapest of places, things like 9 euros for some nuts in the room is ridiculous. We ate at the restaurant one night and being a foodie I was very impressed. Tasty and well cooked and once again very attentive staff.
The spa was under renovation which we were not informed about prior to arrival. We spoke with the manager and explained we booked this hotel due to the spa so they gave us a voucher for another spa hotel and even took us there. Amazing spa! Very happy with that.
I would say location for me was disappointing, whilst the grounds were amazing, if you don’t have a car you cannot do anything unless you fork out for taxis.
Overall good holiday, lovely room, delicious buffet breakfast, great shower and comfortable bed!
