Friendly local fish fry cafe and tapas. They specialise in the local specialty, lightly flour dusted fish slices, small fish, squids, fish roe, mackerel chinks, gambas, slices of cuttlfish, one kilo for 21 euros. About 850g is usually delivered for 2; they are so honest here they will not knowingly take your money by serving too much. The place is very busy by 2pm so get here for 1.30. They do takeout business too, cones of mixed for 4.80 for 250g. We also ate potaotoes in all-i-oli mayonnaise, sound, cold stomach settler not really needed - fast turnover ensures freshness, also very tender "pulpo a la gallega" octopus slices in olive oil and dusting of paprika.
The drink we had, un copa/dos copas de manzanilla, was v cold bone dry sherry wine, ideal with the seafood & shellfish, 1.4 euros per copita.
Friendly democratic sort of place with families, couples, teens, no agro, attentive + helpful male waiters. We went three times and each time came out under 28 euros for two. Plus is right by a wonderful 5 mile beach
