“Lovely little hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago via mobile

Lovely little hotel, very nice and helpful owners, room comfy and very new and clean if a little under decorated. Great selection of toiletries provided. Great location in the centre of the historic old town close to all attractions. If driving, pre book the parking space with the hotel (we paid €12 per day) as it's very hard to park in the old town.

When you book a 2** hotel the expectation is always the same: "The main thing is the cleanliness".
Well, when we arrived, after entered in the room, I was surprised by the style and the super cleanliness of the place. Looks like a brand new hotel, and if is not, is well look after! Nice room, and a super comfortable king size bed. Bathroom as well super nice with: dental kit, shaving kit, comb, and three different type of soap. For a 2** star hotel is enough I believe. The owner is a friendly lady who knows how to do her job very well. I almost forgot: you have free garage parking facilities as well. So, well done!!! It should be a 3*** deluxe hotel!!!

Located just in the right place, walking distance to any of the major city landmarks, modern rooms with very clean facilities. They overbooked but were able to accomodate me and offer me a free upgrade, there´s no elevator so you should consider this in advance and ask for a room at the lower levels, decent breakfast, Wifi slow but it got a bit better in the lobby, very friendly and helpful Staff! Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Choose lower levels

I don't give all that many excellent reviews but this hotel deserves one. The employees and staff are superb and decent English speakers. Location is tops as it is less than a 10 minute walk to the major sight seeing locations in this wonderful city. Rooms were huge, at least ours was

Staff: Our luggage was delayed when we came into Madrid 3 days prior so made arrangements with the airline to deliver it to this hotel. The suitcase made it a day before us and the hotel accepted it and kept it safe until our arrival. Check in/out was very easy with no errors. Everyone was so eager and happy to assist with whatever we needed. I got tired of saying Gracias all the time!!!

Room: Very large for the four of us which is a rarity in old European city centers. Modern decor and everything looked new. Bathroom well stocked and towels were of high quality. Beds were very comfortable and the pillows were great. I only wish they would have provided a hot water heater for tea/coffee.

Location: Right in the heart of Cordoba and a bit of a challenge to drive to so GPS is highly recommended. Very narrow streets in Cordoba so be careful. Easy walk to all the sights and good restaurants. Staff will provide very good help as well. parking garage nearby that they will help you get to.

Two words for anyone visiting Cordoba....Stay Here!.

This hotel is in a great location, seemingly brand-new inside and spotless. We had the breakfast (4 euros) which was a buffet plus coffee. Staff were very friendly (though mixed English) and recommended restaurants as well as giving us a sheet with info on the hours of local attractions. Price was excellent. Down side was that the interior layout (central stairwell open to upper hallways, all tiled surfaces of course) meant that hotel noise travelled. Our room was on a interior court/shaft so no street noise.

Spent the night of Sep 3.

The Good:
You cant ask for a better location. Steps to centre and restaurants. The hotel is very modern despite the old exterior architecture. Romms are very modern and they dont lack the modern technology and furniture. See pictures. I only paid 35 euros for a night for a double room, excellent value! Parking was only 11 euros, a little lower that other places, Cordoba and other Spanish cities lack parking facilities. The staff is very good, they speak English and are very helpful. There is a convenience store right beside the hotel.

The Bad:
No elevator, no bath towels, just small sink towels, no way to get wrapped in one of those unless you are a kid. Walls are very thin, an Italian couple came in late and they start arguing around 2 in the morning. I could hear the whole conversation. It is on a small one way street but dont get fooled, it is a main street to get out to the big streets, it is loud, motorcicles and delivery scooters are passing by non stop. Not easy to get to it if driving. GPS is a must.
A/C is blasting but right at you. I had to turn it off on hot night and open the windows to be able to sleep with ear plugs.
I asked for a double bed, I travel solo, they had none, they pulled two single beds togetheer, I woke up in the middle of the night due to neighbours quarell and jambed/wedged my elbow in between the beds my accident, the beds came apart.

I was sleppy in the morning, not a very good night, the owner came to talk to me and bought me tea and appologized for the inconvenience...nothing to to about all these things.

soo.....yes, nice and modern place but it has its own problems. I still give it a 5 star review for location, the quality and the modern features of the interior,
