This restaurant is definitely worth a walk out of the city centre as it offers a real Andalusian dining experience that you won't find in the overpriced and touristy parts. I'm not sure if any English is spoken there, as we speak Spanish, but it's definitely worth the hassle even if your Spanish is a bit rusty (or non-existent!). We had an 8-course taster menu starting with classic Iberican ham and cheese, and then a range of local foods such as salmorejo, cod croquettes, a stew made with goat meat and a mouthwatering chocolatey dessert, all of which was delicious.
However, what made the evening really great was our lovely waitress, Lourdes, who was always really attentive and very friendly! What's more, the decor is really amazing, with beautiful painted arches similar to La Mezquita and a covered outdoor area where you can sit if it's hot or you smoke. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place!
En español: Un encantador restaurante con decoración muy agradable, buena comida local y un personal muy amable (gracias Lourdes!). Lo recomendamos encarecidamente una visita!
