“I can only comment on the gift shop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

Lovely small gift shop selling Judaica. Very helpful shop attendant. The silver pieces are made in Cordoba by a local artist. We bought a beautiful tree of life pendant and a mezzuzah. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit the museum itself.

“Well Done Small Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

This is attractive building with informative displays. Most are described in both English and Spanish. The exhibits are well done and the textiles and ceramics are beautiful with a good deal of emphasis on on Jewish social life and the role of women. It's well worth a visit.

“A little oasis”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

This is a small, but delightful museum and the house has real atmosphere. It was a welcome break from the shops and bustle of the more touristy part of Cordoba. Staff were friendly and helpful and ensured visitors had laminated sheets to give more information in their own language. Signage was in Spanish and English and was detailed and informative without being over-long / heavy. A truly beautiful place and somehow quite moving and more personal for being in a house.

“Essential if you want to learn more about Jewish life before the Expulsion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

This old house has been converted very tastefully into a small museum relating the life and times of medieval Jews in Cordoba. The actual exhibits are from other parts of the world but the story is well told. Essential museum to visit if you want to feel something about Jewish life in Cordoba eight hundred years ago.
