“Modern & Chic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

If you like modern, you're bound to love this hotel. It is located right next to the old town of Cordoba, and its excellent air conditioning was literally a wonderful breath of fresh cold air after a while spent outside in the hot June sun.

Wifi is free (and excellent) in the lobby, but cost extra in the rooms, and the room design might be a problem with tub/shower privacy if you are traveling with children. Breakfast was good, service was attentive, and we enjoyed our one night stay.

A contemporary hotel only steps from a millennial town. Since one spends most of the time in Cordoba in small places and tiny streets, this hotel brings you back to the modern times. The rooms are decorated in black, silver and lots of stainless steel. The swimming pool on the roof is great. Please note this hotel is almost self service, without staff offering help all the time - something that could collide with its 5 star rating. For me is perfect, but other guests would like or need more help. - (Please do NOT get confused with a hotel of the same chain: AC Cordoba on Av. de la Libertad across the street from the Renfe Train Station. This one is more modest 4-star, further away from the old town. Usually 15-20 USD cheaper than AC Palacio)

Room Tip: Even number rooms look at Paseo de La Victoria (a large promenade and park).

This hotel at first seems to be completely out of its place being so modern. The rooms were large and clean. Great bath and shower! This hotel does charge for wifi and an OUTRAGEOUS 40 Euro breakfast, for a very basic breakfast selection of bread, sweet cakes and cheese! The parking is also additional! Highway robbery for breakfast, buyer beware!

Room Tip: We had room 301 and 302, very little traffic noise.

We stayed in this hotel a few weeks ago. It's a very modern , chic hotel. It says it's a 5 Star but i'd say more 4 star ( no spa, no dressing gown or slippers ) The room was big, clean, pillows comfy. The bathroom is a tad too modern. Bath / shower is separate from the toilet & sink. Ultimately this is not important, there was no plug for the sink was my main gripe.
For your money, you get a central modern hotel which is clean, stylish & great service so i would stay here again. The breakfast buffet is very good for 18-19 euro's. The staff are very attentive, as they are in the bar where generous measures are served.
The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the old city & parking is on site for 18ish euro's a day. We wanted convenience & thats what we got!

Nearly new, very posh, across the street from the sites, outstanding rooms AND parking under the hotel! The staff were courteous but not overly friendly. Hotel includes a rooftop pool. The online photos are 100% accurate.

We have stayed in AC hotels many times, but this one is a cut above.

First, it's got a spectacular location in the heart of Cordoba. Parking? Easy and underground, and while you do pay for parking, you have to expect that in a town center. Easy walk in any direction. Need the train for Seville, just walk up to the main station. Easy walk to La Mezquita, the old town, the commercial center.

So we travel a lot. I really don't get very excited about hotel rooms or bathrooms. I will give this one a gold star for its wet room double shower. After walking all day and feeling tired and dusty, it was fab. The hallways were sedate and wide, the rooms modern, clean and well equipped (mini bar, in room safe, good storage - all you would normally expect and its right here). The rooftop pool was very nice, a great place to relax for an hour or two and soak up some sun. The view from the room was nice too - out over the park and the city.

I haven't a single complaint. Ok, the square sink bowls don't drain properly and the floor grating in the wet room could be hard on tired feet. But honestly, great rooms and I would come back. There is no real complaint here. I understand how others find the layout different to traditional rooms, but as a couple it was no issue. And don't underestimate the

Very stylish and comfortable however the bathrooms are a little funky. You can't beat the location just a five minute walk to the quaint old town of Cordoba.
The staff is very friendly, they speak English and the room was very clean. I would stay again and since I travel for work that means a lot to me!!!
