“Very enjoyable day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

Felt like had a fell into the set of an old western I used to watch with my mum, in fact I think it turned me back into a little girl for a little while, definitely turned my partner into a cowboy. The town has been made to resemble all of those movies we used to see and love and give you fabulous photographic opportunities and sights to see with the addition of re-enactments which are very well choreographed, the can can girls who are very professional and the parrot show all of which just add to the entertainment of the day. My partner and I took advantage of the professional photographic studio where were able to dress up and have photos taken which were then made to look like they had been taken in 1852 for a small fee of 10 Euros each. Additional attractions the Wagon museum and the Cine museum located in the bank.

The Park has been extended to include a cactus garden, a zoo, a pool (only open in high season) and a on the perimeter a number of towers which provide good vantage points of the desert. The cactus garden was small but well kept, I have never seen Aloe Vera so big, I am sure it was bigger than me. The zoo area provides some beautiful scenic views which included crashing waterfalls, beautiful, and whilst there is a train which will take you around the zoo area we did not find it until we had nearly completed the whole circuit which had been a challenge as you find yourself on a bit of a walking roller coaster.
Large number of bathroom facilities around the complex which were clean and accessible for children and disabled persons. Watering holes around the whole complex are reasonably priced and abundant, selling refreshments of water, tea, coffee, beers, sandwiches, burgers and ice cream. I saw a lot of people had brought in packed lunches from their hotels which I guess works out better value for money.

We visited last week the temperature was in excess of 30 degrees, after all you are going to the desert. Essential items: a hat, plenty of water, thin clothes preferably with sleeves and maybe long pants so you do not burn too much.

Overall a good day, value for money 22 Euros, three parks in one, three shows in one day and a unique experience.

“Great Day Out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

The Wild West Town is very authentic and the show is great. Tag that with an exceptional zoo and you have a great family day out. Also great for couples too. The walk around the zoo is very up & down so would'nt suit disabled persons. Plenty of eating & drinking places with children in mind. Well worth a visit.

“Great day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

I am struggling to understand why people are saying this is expensive. For 22 euros an adult you are basically getting three parks in one. The wild west show was fab- great fun. Loved wandering around the town. The actors stayed at least an hour after the show to let everyone who wanted to sit on a horse or on the wagon and pose for photos with them- young and old alike. Plenty of things to look at. Even museum pieces such as wagons over the ages and history of cinema (as is a movie location!) The zoo was brilliant. The best reptile house I have ever seen. Roaring tigers right behind inches of glass- made a few visitors jump back and scream when the tiger pounced at them! Hehe. Lion, Hippos, Giraffes, warthogs, rhinos. alligators, puma, hyenas plus many more and a train ride around included. Parrot show, can can show and to top it all off at the end a swim in the big open pool and no time to relax because we had crammed so much in. The only grumble is that there was no water coming down the water shoots- but how can someone say this isn't good value? You wouldn't even get half of that in the UK for that price. Best day out we had all holiday

“A relaxing and interesting day out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

We visited mini Hollywood and thank goodness as it was the most interesting part of our holiday

A great variety of animals in the zoo and they were so close to you too!!

The western part let us down as the park was dead so I reckon we didn't go at a good time of year

We had a great picture taken when we entered the park which was relatively cheap to buy when we left too

Only 2 gift shops which isn't great and only 1 place open that was serving food

Overall a lovely day out with some absolutely stubbing views

A quiet day where we got to see all that we wanted to due to how quiet the park was

“great day out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

As we had family staying for a couple of weeks , we decided to pay a visit to this place. Its nearly a 2 hour drive from our house near Loja but is very easy to find. Our party consisted of 7 adults and 3 kids in 2 cars. Total cost including parking was 181 euros which I thought was a bit pricey.
The first part you come to is the movie set cowboy town which is well done and quite interesting. We stayed and watched the gun fight which was ok ( if you have been to Disneyland you might be a bit disappointed) but the kids really enjoyed it. You then move on to a zoo area which was actually quite interesting with snakes, lizards, tigers, monkeys, hyenas etc all looking well looked after. I have to say that Biopark in Fuengirola is much better if all you want is to visit a zoo. By the time we had finished here we had our picnic lunch and then went to explore the open part of the zoo which is a very hilly walk but you get to see bears, zebras, giraffe, elephants, buffalo etc in open pens but it was very hot. We then made our way back to the cowboy town for a cold beer in the saloon and watched the can can show which was short but not bad at all. It was now about 5pm and the kids were tired out so we headed home. All in all a great day if you have kids and if you remember spaghetti westerns
